My husband and I highly recommend DJ Battle of One Sound Entertainment. DJ Battle and his crew…read moreprovided DJ services, sound, lighting, and pipe & drape for our wedding this past June. We chose One Sound because of Mark's killer mixing at a bridal show in Atlanta last fall. The man has serious skills. In fact, we've totally been procrastinating on writing reviews (our plates are full with thank-you notes and other post wedding miscellania), but we were reminded after receiving yet another compliment on how awesome DJ Battle was. The dance party was amazingly fun. We are not easy people to please--our tastes are so all over the place. At one of our initial meetings we tried to explain our love for hip-hop, house, 80s pop, reggeaton, dubstep, salsa, dancehall...you get the idea. In addition, it was important for us to have traditional Jewish elements (the hora) and good old fashion bootyshaking and of course, some fun linedancing. Somehow, DJ Battle was able to pull all of that together. We had a very diverse wedding, but everyone was on the dance floor from the very first song until the last. It was so freaking cool to see so many of our guests, black, white, young, old, all dancing together with joyful exuberance. SO.MUCH.FUN. The lighting was dope too. We don't have many photos yet, but these two clips should give a sense of the senseless fun we had: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bY4w-AIqUg&feature=relmfu & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjCOaAyKoBE&feature=relmfu. I highly recommend DJ Battle and One Sound Entertainment (by the way, I've heard some of their other djs at events and they are solid too).

We immediately got his info and booked him for our wedding in June of 2023. He knows exactly how to get everyone involved, how to read the room, what music to play, what games to play, how to best accommodate the bride and groom- everything!! I had so many guests telling me how amazing our DJ was and how he was the best one they have ever seen at a wedding. He was so detailed and thorough and SO FUN!!!! 10/10 book with Master Sounds! He was so much more than a "DJ" or "EMCEE" Jeff really helped guide the night!!

After searching for a reputable DJ we came up on DJ Triplicate. DJ Triplicate stepped up to the plate and made our dreams come true! Prior to the wedding we spoke multiple times and even did a phone consultation to make sure everything would meet our expectations on the big day. On the big day DJ Triplicate arrived early and assembled all of his equipment, he carried through our plans and worked to make sure that everything we wanted music wise was covered. This included silly requests for parent/child dances and much more. DJ Triplicate really showed his skills when he went off the vibes of the party and got everybody involved in the festivities. We loved DJ Triplicate so much that we gladly paid for him to stay longer then planned. He is your man, make the appointment and speak with him, you will not be disappointed!

They have a portal where you can add "must play" "desired" and "do not play" songs. In addition, I gave Richard a link to my public Spotify playlists which he looked through for inspiration about other types of music we liked. The best part about the process was that he made a comment about our call ahead of time ideally being the only time we ever have to talk. Aka that I shouldn't have to worry about a thing or even need to interact with him on the wedding day and that it should all just go smoothly... and it was just that!

******* READ THE BELOW BEFORE HIRING THIS DJ ****** I…read morenever want anyone to experience what I experienced on my wedding day from this DJ. I also never want anyone else to feel the level of utter disappointment my husband and I felt and still feel. That is the purpose of writing this review. This was the worst experience at our wedding. The sad part is, I really trusted him when I met with him and I worked so hard on the meaningful playlist for the reception and was very detailed and clear as to what songs he was supposed to play for the announcements, eating, garter toss, pronunciations of names, etc. I even made a Spotify playlist for him that he had on his computer and all he had to do was press play and announce. I filled out all of his forms online, outlining in detail the plan I created for the evening. I recorded pronunciations of the names and we practiced them. All of this went out the window on our wedding day. He didn't play the playlist, made up his own set list, pronounced my husbands name wrong, and had the incorrect timing for everything that happened for the entire reception. In addition to this, after I told him to play the list I made and actually do what we discussed and planned for over 6 months, he literally told me, "I am not going to play your playlist or do what we talked about. I am just going to take requests from your guests." So he actually refused to do his job in front of my wedding guests after continually being asked to fulfill our original agreement. Also adding injury to the insult (literally), my husband repeatedly had our close friends asking us if the DJ was under the influence of stimulants or alcohol based on his irrational behavior. He was a COMPLETELY different person on our wedding day than any other time I had met with him (or else I wouldn't have hired him!). He actually walked outside during the reception and told my husband (I don't think he knew who he was talking to when he said this) that he forgot his weed in his car and was going to get it. In the emails afterwards, he took no responsibility for anything and said that everything that went wrong (him not playing the playlist or doing his job) was MY fault. He actually said he acted as a wedding planner for me and that I was lucky to have him. Absolute waste of time and money. To quote some more reviews that are pretty accurate: "Chad messed up literally every single piece of my wedding that he was involved in. He was late arriving, and then was drunk the entire reception (he was visibly drinking in front of all of my guests/ family beer that he had brought himself)." Also, this is pretty much EXACTLY how I feel: "It has broken my heart to say that the one thing that tarnished my wedding day was our DJ." I actually got sad and cried the other day listening to my wedding playlist I worked so hard on that never got played. Again, I never want this to happen to any other bride or groom. I never want anyone to be tricked and lied to on their wedding day and also to be told by the DJ that they aren't going to get what they paid for and worked so hard for.
