My wife and I toured this place, and others, when we were checking out daycares. One of the biggest reasons why my wife and I chose this place is because the children seem like they have fun. When we visited, the kids were socializing and playing with each other. In other daycares, the children seem subdued and withdrawn and not as playful. In fact, some of the children recognize me now and walk up to me to say hi or share their toy when I go pick up my daughter. I think their friendliness is partly due to how they're treated here. My child loves this place. I enrolled my daughter when she was about 2.5 years old. There was of course and adjustment period, but shortly after two weeks, my daughter became used to the idea of coming here and even looking forward to it. I have no doubt the extra TLC that the staff gave her the first few weeks contributed to her feeling welcome. I think dropping my daughter off became harder for me than it was for her (conceal, dont feel). She's been enrolled here over a year now. She comes home with art projects that they do in class, I catch her singing songs that I know she learned while in school here. She tells me about her friends and the types of games they play. She recently told me that she needs to start bringing a toy for show and tell on Fridays. The staff here is very warm and considerate. Unlike other daycares where the teachers are college students or young adults, you can tell that the teachers here have children of their own. They will treat your child as if he or she was one of their own as well.

I have to say that my son loves the school, teachers, and his classmates so far which is saying a lot because hated his previous daycare (I'll do a review on it in the near future). It's clean, not too many students, diverse, and well structured as far as I can tell. It's also pretty hand to find, you won't be able to see it from the street, which I like for safety reasons. The director is helpful and reasonable. She also does after school care for the pre-k to 8th grade students from the neighboring catholic school and will even pick them up personally and walk them back to her facility which is pretty cool. Students from her school gets a spot for that pre-k program offered at the catholic school. As far as education, I'll have to see. My kid is already pretty far ahead but when I talked to him after picking him up Monday, he told me all the things that he did so, so far so good. Will give another update in the future.

This school really puts the kids first and the activities they plan are very thoughtful, educational, and great life lessons. Our daughter has had exposure to climbing trees, learning about composting, gardening, learning about bugs in the woods, sharing, listening, respecting rules, etc. We have seen our daughter really flourish since attending the school from developing her physical strength and balance (because they are outside a lot and doing so many activities) to being curious about things that are around them (learning about gardening, plants, bugs, etc.) and making friends and developing a deep bond with them. They have so much activities and it changes with the season. And we cannot say enough about the staff, they are thoughtful, flexible, and so receptive to feedback.
