My daughter has 3 months left of school and I can't wait for this nightmare to be over. I've had two incidents at these schools and in both incidents I noticed that they protect each other (staff) and wash their hands from the situations. my daughter was getting pushed around for 3 months when school started, teachers were aware of it & didn't notify the other parent until I had to let them know when the incident happened right infront of us in the playground. when the issue was escalated there was no accountability taken. a separate incident occurred yesterday as I was arriving to school to drop off my daughter. CK has security guards in the lot & it appears to be that I made a mistake and assumed a car was parked and went around it to park since it had no blinkers on and Eddy (security) came to my car screaming frantically. my daughter was inside the car duding this time and I told him to stop screaming at me and he wouldn't. in fact he wouldn't leave the side of my car and followed me all the way to the playground where I dropped off my daughter to tell the teachers about the incident. the teacher heard him being rude to me yet nobody told him to stop. he proceeded to tell me that he doesn't care who I go talk to inside and to complain if I want to. I assume he was secure about the fact that he would receive cover up for his actions. I was very frustrated with him during the incident because he has already attacked me before when I made a mistake in the lot and came banging on my window. ultimately, i made a complaint with DOE. I spoke to the director who basically sat me down to mainly discuss my actions rather than the securities. for some reason they believe it is okay to scream at parents if they make a mistake in the parking lot. all I was told was that he won't address me anymore but everything was brushed under the rug. this is a predominantly white school and it appears to be that if you are not white morning security will look at you with a face of disgust & disrespect you any chance they get. management has provided me no sense of closure but rather blamed me for the actions of their employees. I have witnesses that saw him and heard him screaming at me yet somehow the director had no proof of that. I have never felt so discriminated against, all I have tried to do was provide my daughter with a better future and opportunity. I never thought i would have a staff member yelling at me infront of my child and not stopping no matter how much I begged him. furthermore, I didn't even receive a apology for his actions from anybody. I'm beyond disappointed in this school. any parent who endured what I have with security Eddy would've reacted the way I did when you have a staff member of your daughters school screaming belligerently while my daughter is in the car & not allowing me to take her out. he has ignored my daughter when she has greeted him many times because for some reason he has something against me. all the white parents get waves & smiles while my daughter & I get dirty looks, ignored & disrespected. absolutely no resolution was given for me, all I was told was "don't do that again" as if I was a child. I was very apologetic for my actions because I had no idea I caused any hazard but if I did as an adult I should be addressed as one. I was told by other parents that apparently it is a "thing" security abuses their power & play favorites. as if we didn't have enough stress as parents they have provided nothing but more problems and now I'm so worried about my daughter being treated differently. as many parents can relate my hands are tied because I have a busy schedule that wouldn't allow me to take my daughter out the school as much as I want to. I cried so much over the incident because as a mother the last thing you want to feel is degraded & discriminated against & I had hopes of management rectifying the issue but was once again disappointe. I will continue my complaint with DOE and hope for a better outcome for future parents. beware & proceed with caution with this school.

Once they start they have no support and are left to co workers to navigate the computer software or office procedures. Resources are very limited. Office supplies and copy machine are also scarce. Both of my children developed special relationships with the staff. My daughter, currently 21 months old, has developed an extremely close bond with Aulona. Aulona is wonderful with communicating with me throughout the day and I know my daughter is in good hands with her. Jasmine is my daughter's teacher and she is terrific at maintaining a routine and communicating with me if there is an issue or concern. My older son, now in 3K, grew very close to Stephanie in the 2 year old classroom. They developed a close bond and always looked forward to seeing her. As an infant, he grew close to Ms Arifa in the infant classroom. The hours are fantastic and Stephanie is extremely reliable in ensuring the building is open and ready for children at 7am. There have been minor issues in the past with communication; however, the staff caring for my daughter currently are very caring and she loves going to school every day.

My daughter attended for over a year before transitioning to 3K in September 2025, and I truly can't say enough about how positive our experience was. From day one, the entire team made me feel at ease leaving her each morning, which is no small thing when you're balancing work and motherhood. That peace of mind meant everything to me. She grew so much during her time there socially, emotionally, and developmentally. It was clear every single day that she was cared for with patience, warmth, and genuine attention. The staff always kept communication open, which I really appreciated, and they consistently shared helpful tips and insights that supported me as a parent too. What speaks volumes is that even after transitioning to 3K, we'll be returning for summer 2026. That alone says how much trust and love we have for this place. I'm so grateful to have found a community that not only cared for my daughter, but also supported me. Little Forest People will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I've been told by some teacher who've left it's because they don't get paid on time/ or at all 1) It really expensive and I don't mind paying but if my kid doesn't get consistency what's the point! 2) If my child has to start over ever 3 months with someone new I rather put my child somewhere else 3)This place use to supply lunch doesn't anymore from the last time my kid was there 4) The director is unorganized and hard to reach I would have to relay on over worked busy teachers for information that they probably didn't get either or her assistant (great assistant) 5)My tuition bill changed a lot sometimes from 20$-40$ more. If I brought up the change the director would say it's an "error" and give me the agreed price 6) Honestly due to the change of staff my child stopped learning and lost a lot of things that they had already learned when my favorite and their favorite Assistant teacher left in July 7) These are my reasons I had to remove my child from here unfortunately because my child had a lot of opportunities to learn there as long as everything is going well. Good luck New parents!! Hope I was helpful (:
