It's in the far corner of the plaza off the northeast corner of Weston Rd and Hwy 7. It does have ample parking. I've made use of it both as a shopper, and a donater. It serves its purpose, usually. I can't speak to how large it is compared to other locations, but it is about as large as an average Costco, and looks like one. It's a pretty bare bones warehouse full of all kinds of housewares, clothing, books, seasonal items, and even watches and jewellery. I've made a few successful trips over the years. The selection of kitchen wares, clothing, and books in particular have been very good finds. I've managed to find cooking implements for extremely low prices, many of them long ago, which I still use to this day. The clothing seems a little more costly, but still good bargains. Browsing the aisles reminds me a lot of shopping at Winners, but not as bright and shiny. But the racks and racks of clothes are arranged and of such an array as reminds me of a Winners experience, where you need to dig amongst all the odds and ends. When it comes to Christmas and Halloween, you can score a lot of great finds at bargain prices, including brand new items such as wigs and kids' costumes. I've heard a lot of negative press lately about Value Village jacking up prices on new, resale items from dollar stores. I haven't yet experienced this myself, but I will certainly keep my eye out on my next trip. Check the bottoms of items for original stickers that will tell you whether overcharging. All in all, I've been glad to have successful trips, and will certainly return when I'm up for my next thrift haul.

The manager or supervisor whatever she was was yelling at me about the policy they have and I explained to her I didn't want to purchase another idea I just wanted my 5.00 back and the I unwilling went to look for something else and ask if I could try it on as I'm pregnant and with 2 kids a few of the staff yelled at me and said I can purchase the item and exchange it..

But this recent visit might have changed my mind. When I needed last-minute accessories for a costume in spring, it never crossed my mind to check out Value Village--until my partner suggested it. Turns out, there were some real finds! I needed a beret and suspenders and ended up choosing a 100% wool hat and it was made in Germany and priced cheaper than a brand new costume beret, along with suspenders featuring buckles made in England and the stretchy band made in the US, all together for under $12 including tax for both items. Sounds like a great deal to me. Older items these days are much better quality and it's much more sustainable since these items are mostly likely gonna be used once. Don't overlook Value Village!

You re selling second hand items. Why are making used shoes $24.99? Jeans $17.99? I love shopping thrift so I can help close the loop and give new life to items, but these prices make it hard to justify. Why would I buy used when I could buy new for nearly the same price? Secondly, why are some traditional Chinese garments in the "costume" section of the store for Halloween?
