I've been moderately aware of this store for quite some time. I believe it began in Grandin Mall. I…read moreknow for certain it was in what used to be Village Tree Mall which was torn down and converted into Village Landing. But I have to say this store has survived and is now located near Sobey's in St. Albert. It's got its own strip mall space. I admire it simply for it's staying power. The clothing has improved somewhat over the years. I've browsed it a few times in the past and thought I'd see what they've got now. They still have lots of bejeweled articles of clothing which I am not a fan of. Still the demographic of this shop doesn't include my age group, more like double that. So, what's better now? They carry Jones New York which I thought was pretty impressive. This store seems to cater more to retired women. A good sign though was that the clearance racks are where the bulk of the polyester was. So maybe that's a sign of things to come.

First I thought the prices may be high but then I realized the prices are great and the products had great value. I couldn't resist the quality and the design of the shoes and I came out of the store with their newly design shoes. This is not a permanent store and opens for 4 months a year and I highly recommend their products! Go see them and try them before they are gone!

They do have some good sales if you can find the style and size you like. I think they have a yearly garage sale where they have cheap clothes for a few dollars, that is what my friends have told me. I wouldn't pay full price for most of their clothes here as it's usually overpriced and not the highest quality but you can find some stylish items here. In other Ricki's I have received great service, but this one not so much. If I'm in the area, I may pop in but I would not make a special trip to come to this store.

This store is a tad smaller than others..but again, it is not in the mall! I am a regular here and avoid her when I can. But I love the style and sales and the excellent return policy! Cheers

It's a wee bit out of the way for me - it's in Crestwood, beside Delux Burger Bar. So while I usually visit the Whyte Ave location, this My Filosophy is always worth a trip as well. Note: unfortunately the location at Northgate is the worst location and drags down the name of this company. The prices at the Northgate location is higher than the same items offered at this location, and their staff is quite uneducated and not very helpful at all. I would just just save the time and go to the west end location Note: this originally was posted on March 2019 on Google maps. As a plus sized guy I still stand by this review. I've revisited the location from time to go and this is the majority of my wardrobe. Keep up the great work

When I walked through West Edmonton Mall and saw the 'Grand Opening' sign, I was ecstatic. Whenever…read moreI look for sunglasses, I always look at what Oakley has. They carry a huge lineup of sunglasses for fashion to active wear. I personally have one for when I'm biking, due to it's tighter arms, and another one for 'everyday' wear with a more relaxed fit. Although I do not need it myself, I appreciate how there is an 'Asian fit' style option due to the shorter noses of most Asians. There are a few locations around Edmonton that sell Oakley sunglasses, however none have as much selection as they offer at the Oakley store. They have a lot of different frame and lens combinations, and they allow you to customize your own in your order- before you'd be at the mercy of what the other retailers would have in stock. One thing I found annoying was how difficult it was to identify store staff. They dress 'normally' like the rest of us civilians, and a few times I found myself just talking to another customer. Regardless, when you are lucky to catch a staffer, you find they are a wealth of knowledge. They can recommend you the different types of frames you would need based on what activity you would be doing, and they also offer opinions on lenses to choose from. I even had a chance to their $4500 Elite C SIX Carbon Fiber sunglasses- it felt like nothing at all...but 'nothing at all' is exactly what would be left in my bank account if I bought them. Regardless, the staff had no hesitation showing this to me and were happy to entertain me.

As I was walking past the store my eye caught some really cute school uniform type sweaters that came in navy blue and white. They were on sale too for about 50% off. I was sure they would carry larger sizes but they sure did! I decided to keep looking around their store and found a lot of great and warm thermal type sweaters and jackets. The jackets were also on sale from $145 to about $85; that's pretty good. They carry items for both men and women and their men's section was pretty cool also. They have some really great winter jackets for people who like to ski and snowboard. It you were looking for some sunglasses or everyday ware or for skiing/snowboarding you can find here. Oh, they also have a great selection of backpacks and luggage; they have some really great styles, colors and crazy cool designs. They also carry some hats for the guys, just incase you wanted to know. The staff is really friendly and very nice. I felt really bad for the one girl who was so sick, she should've just stayed home and curled up in bed instead of trying to talk to customers. Over all, pretty cool place!
