I'm so glad it did because I had no idea there was this consignment store here for the past 35 years!! It's changed owners over a decade ago but it's still family run and super friendly. Selections are a good range, and most people shopping at the time successfully found goodies. Prices will depend on the brand and quality. Whatever it is, you'll be paying much better than usual marked up retail prices. Just my luck they were hosting an additional sale and I managed to find a few pieces. I will need to get some alterations but I'm super thrilled to have found some great stuff for a good price. The pieces are kept well, good quality, and they have about 3 change rooms available so you can actually try the stuff on. They've got all sorts of clothing from casual to business wear to semi formal and formal. You can find all sorts of styles too. There's a huge section for formal dresses at the back half and I recall she mentioned they have another location that specially has bridal wear. They also have some jewelry and shoes. I definitely look forward to coming back again soon and hope more people discover them so they can stay in business for a long time to come. The staff here are incredibly friendly and so is the owner! They're not pushy about the sale and seem only concerned about making sure you have a great time shopping. Love the vibes! visited first time from Toronto, I am sure the most basic of the basic stores like this have their…read moreuse in the community and it's not their fault if people don't donate but my review is one from a casual thrifter who is not a person in need and I must say the selection was dismal. much of the rack space was empty in this small store and what they had were nonames and old clothes from 70-90s, you are able to look through it all in practically 5 minutes. they try to make up for the lack of donations pricing for example hollister (not bnwt!) shorts for $9.99 which is ridiculous, I am sure these will be sitting there until the sale. I am sure staff is nice however I didn't have to talk to them as I left empty handed.

I heard these two guys talking and when it was my turn to unload I had to ask a few questions. By the way they unloaded my car, were helpful and respectful, all that you want to see in an employee. What I heard was them complaining about being bullied at work by management, talked down too, insulted and belittled - causing mental stress and depression. One of them was close to tears, he was poorly spoken too at the start of his shift....Dumb move on your part VV.....humiliate them and then let them be your stores upfront representatives! Value Village you have an incredible opportunity to mold these young men into great future employees for any company outside high school so DO BETTER! It is obvious shopping in the store that you have an all around unhappy staff. Your reputation is already mud by price gouging, maybe retrain your upper level staff so that they have a clue on a Respectful Work Environment. I think it's time we reconsider doing business elsewhere....
