Considering what a horrible procedure this can be, every step of the process was clearly explained to me, the pre and post care was excellent, and the procedure itself went as well as as I could have hoped. While I hope to never visit them again for the remainder of my days, if I ever have a similar need, they will be the first company I reach out to.

That alone was something I was SO grateful for. This was my first root canal and I was VERY nervous about getting it done. I feel like all the media I've seen about root canals had me terrified for the procedure. But wow, I felt like such a baby afterwards! Dr. Popkowski and his team were SO professional, kind, and reassuring. It didn't hurt at ALL! He knocked it out of the park getting me in and out within the hour. Doc also called that evening to make sure everything still felt okay, which was very personable! I didn't even have pain the next day. In fact, my mouth feels better than it has in a while! I had no idea how much that tooth had been bothering me. I say all this to say, wow - what a walk in the park! This group rocks and I couldn't be happier about my experience here. If I ever find myself in this position again, I definitely won't be nervous because I know I'll be in wonderful care! Thank you all!

Go in the front, to the left you see and elevator. Floor two and you'll see the sign. Easy to find really. I was greeted by Connie up front. She's wonderful! She was so helpful with scheduling appointments. The wait time was nonexistent. Got right in. Dr. Radel and his assistants did a great job explaining everything and checking in along the way. It was honestly just like getting a cavity filled.. for an hour lol. My dentist friends and my regular dentist complimented his work. Dr. Radel also called the next day to make sure everything was alright. Which it was, I experienced zero issues with either root canal. I would say for a root canal, this was about the best experience I could hope for. He did a great job, numbed me up very well, and didn't hesitate to go back in when he felt the job wasn't quite "perfect" yet. I appreciated that. After insurance it cost me $358 so there's that. I would recommend Dr. Radel and Beaches Endodontics but seriously hope I don't go back for a long long long time lol.

He filled all 5 at once and I ended up needing a crown and TWO root canals because he damaged my teeth so badly. ironically he also told my son he had FIVE cavities (a bit coincidental...). please get a second opinion and get work done elsewhere!! I wish I had. I'm out over $2k and months of pain!

However, I was an actual patient there and also have more than a single review with no picture, so rest assured this review is legitimate. I really don't like to dump on a place on Yelp - it has to be really bad for me to leave a one star review as I honestly have a pretty high tolerance for bad food and services. This is an exception. When I moved to the beach, I needed a dentist to put a permanent crown over a temp one I already had. Dr. Harrison did it, and I liked him, the hygenists and the front desk girls a lot. They were all very friendly. I came back a few months later for a routine cleaning, after they continued to point out weird things I needed done and upgrades to crowns as others have mentioned. In this meeting, they told me I needed 12 crowns. As if that isn't ridiculous enough, the Dr and hygenist both starting laughing around the 9th or 10th. While I am glad they found it so funny, it isn't as funny for the at the time 21 year old who doesn't have $15,000 lying around for dental care. So, I decided to go see my home dentist in Orlando for a second opinion. Funny thing is, he said I may need ONE CROWN. Just one. He recommended me a new dentist (John Della Porta) who hooked me up with a great root canal specialist who took care of it in no time. I just don't understand why they would so obviously lie about something like that. I never had pain in any of 11 other teeth they claimed needed crowns, and I still don't today. Everything about it was just bizarre. Like I said, they were nice at first, but I would recommend seeing somebody else no matter what.

I was experiencing…read moresome intense pain from an old root canal/crown and am terrified of going to the dentist in general, but this place has given me hope for my dental future (aka keeping up my appointments). Dr. Mavec is a professional; nationally recognized and published. He served and has the title of Lt. as well, which is impressive in itself. The staff members are all friendly, honest and show a sense of compassion and genuine interest in you as a person. I did not feel like a "patient", but rather a friend coming to see some friends who are going to do a root canal haha. As a nurse, this is a cool feeling. The place is clean, high-tech and fully equipped for the ultimate patient satisfaction experience while in the chair. Dr. Mavec is knowledgeable, thorough and calming. He promotes relaxation in every way he can, and offers different ways to make the procedure less stressful. For example, there is a t.v on the ceiling to watch Netflix during your procedure if you so choose, you'll get headphones for sound so the drilling isn't AS bad as it usually is. Shades to keep the blinding light from intensifying the sensations and promoting a calm environment. My favorite? The warm blanket and the fact that the dentist chair warms up!! This releases the tension already present because you're at the Endodontist's and allows you to relax further. Dare I say I actually dozed off a little during my root canal: Yes I dare and I say! Thank you Dr. Mavec and staff for the best experience. I will highly recommend your services to colleagues, friends and my Yelp family!
