Turns out they also use independent contractors and the driver was unknown to them. The driver couldn't make the driveway and we had to walk down the hill. Further, for pick up, the driver was asleep and unreachable. After 30 minutes, we had to get ubers. This is all normal stuff and I was ready to take it but I found the response from the company to be appalling. They were not interested in working with us on a refund and, at one point, had the audacity to say I didn't look hard enough for the car (which I did - nowhere in site). Anyway, given management disinterest in our satisfaction (having booked them many times before), thinking there is a better customer-focused company out there. If something goes wrong, I always want a highly customer focused partner and these guys weren't it.

We were told to give the extra $100 to our driver as tip for the 7th hour. We not only tipped the driver $140 but was also charged an extra $200 on top of what we paid because we didn't leave a 5 star review. After calling them to confirm the extra charges, they said they were willing to refund $100 if we left a 5 star review. Yeah no thanks. I'd rather pay the extra fees and let people know the truth about your company.
