We were on vacation in Galveston & I accidently locked my keys inside the truck in the Walmart parking lot in 100+ degrees. Platinum got to us in about 20 minutes & got us back on the road quick!! Highly recommend! read more

This company is very unprofessional. They do not release your vehicle after 6pm. To hold a licence with TDLR for VSF it's a requirement to release vehicles from 8:00am-midnight Monday-Saturday with a 1hr notice if you are not 24hr. They are charging customers more days and fees by not allowing to pick up after 6pm. They are also charging a 6% fee for credit card payments which law says max is 4%. Disputing these issues led to very rude text from the company and saying my threats weren't going to change anything to go ahead and file a complaint they didn't care what TDLR says they weren't changing. So Becareful and review your information. TDLR has been notified along with other government agencies. read more

I called for a quote to tow my SUV from an auto shop to my home. A total distance of 2.2 miles. They quoted me $220.00 - WAY TOO HIGH I got it towed by another local company for 36% of that amount. read more

To be towed less than 5 miles this man tried to charge me an obscene amount of money. When asked why it was so high, he said he was permitted to do so. Ok. Can you explain why? No. Got rude, watched me write a check, and when I was done, told me he didn't accept checks. Threatened my MIL, went to try to tow my car away while I'm sitting in the driver seat, and is spitting all over my property. I'm just going to sit here. Stay tuned. **added** And if he wasn't guilty, he wouldn't be emailing me 2.5 weeks later being threatening and trying to be insulting. Yes, I'm going to contact everyone about this ignorant person. He can continue to have his friends post raving comments about him. But I am not the only person with a bad experience and will not be the last. I'm just trying to save you from it. read more

During some heavy rain my Toyota 4Runner was parked on the side of the road, nearing flooding. I called about 7:30 to request my vehicle be picked up and moved elsewhere so it wouldn't flood. Within 25 minutes a truck was loading my vehicle, gave my husband a ride to park the vehicle and brought him back. Great service! read more

First of all when you drive up there's goats and various other farm animal roaming freely around the lot. Everything looks dusty, dirty, and torn down. Been waiting to get my car out of this lot for 40+ mins. Called the dude over a hour ago and told him we was driving to pick up the vehicle. Was told he was going to be here at 2:45. Still waiting. Very upset. I drove over a hour to pick up the vehicle. I called and the rude ass man just kept repeating to me that someone was otw when I asked for a time estimate after informing him for the second time that we have been waiting for 40+ minutes. Very unprofessional. I hope your car doesn't get towed here good luck. *UPDATE* left this review yesterday. We arrived at the lot at 2. The woman didn't get there until after 3:15. And when she did arrive after we waited over a hour outside the lot she informed us that we were inconveniencing her bc she was BBQing. We didn't leave with the vehicle until after 4 bc she refused to released the vehicle even tho the insurance we had had our name on it and multiple documents proving the vehicle was ours. So there's absolutely no way it was under a hour like you claim. I can post screenshots of the call log and text messages sent with time stamps. Also I didn't get arrested but as you can see this is how the owner views their customers they're dealing with. Just because you're handling business with people fresh out of jail, doesn't mean you get to treat them like shit. So I feel sorry for someone who actually did get fresh out of jail and have to encounter this company in the future. Exactly why people like you shouldn't own a business. The level of unprofessionalism is far too high. I hope you lose this lot soon to prevent another person's hell. Owner continues to contact and harass me bc of my review. Dispute the fact that he admits he had a family member, his mother, come in to handle our business and admits he wasn't physically there to witness what we went thru to get the vehicle back. The owners are completely unprofessional. Please if you can STAY AWAY. read more

Ashamed to say that I got caught in some serious water and flooded my car. I called my insurance company and the towing company was taking over three hours to get there. Instead, Ira from Platinum was parked close by and towed me. He has a wonderful personality and attitude. He even invited Penelope (my dog) to sit up front with us. The only reason for 4 instead of five stars is the price...then again, they are probably the same cost as their competitors. I kept his card and will call him directly if I ever need towed again...Hope I never have to though! read more

States they are on the way but somehow they never make any headway on getting closer. How can it take over half a day to get there. Be honest and just say you can't so I can find someone else. You are not platinum. You are rust. read more

This company has the worst drivers in the state. I can't count how many times I have been passed by them driving like there is a fire behind them. They constantly speed 20mph over the speed limit endangering other drivers because they want to be first in front of line at the next red light read more

My wife's car broke down 2 miles away from my house. The cops told her to use this tow service. He Hooked up the car and towed it the 2 miles back to my house the told her it would be $159!!! For 2 miles! We asked for an itemized receipt and he refused stating that he doesn't make the prices but owns the company. We tried to pay him with a check and he refused payment. He proceeded to hook the car back up and tried to take it to a wrecking yard with my wife in the car. Had he told her the price up front we would've gone with someone else which is why he didn't tell us. This man is a crook, stay clear away from him and his tow business! read more

Great prices! Speedy service and the owner has such a great personality. Thanks for the tow!

My "go-to" tow company! They have gotten me out of some pickles. I have the number saved in my phone, trustworthy and dependable.

Was broke down on the side of the with my step son. After calling other few other tow truck companies they were all to busy. Called platinum and got an immediate response time from them. Even though I gave him the wrong location, he found the correct location before I called back. Enjoy the conversation with the gentleman all the way home. Extremely reasonable price for towing. Very professional and polite. I highly recommend this company if you need a tow. read more

Hands down the best service I have encountered from a towing company. It all started a few years back when my car broke down outside of a 24 hour fitness. The company that I used for emergency road side service recommended Platinum to me at that time. He was there in 15 minutes to get my car and also allowed me to ride with him to the drop off point. Great guy!! The second time I used his service he was here in about 10-15 minutes after I gave him out address. Popped open the door to our car in less than a minute!! I highly recommend Platinum towing not only because of the great experience, but because it's a mom and pop company that you can count on. read more

I called and immediately the phone was answered. I was told that it would be 25 minutes and he arrived in 23. He was very pleasant and towed two vehicles for a great price! read more

I've always had great service and reasonable prices. I'll continue to use Platinum Towing and refer them to people in need in the future.

Highway robbery this guy charge a crazy amount of money for less than 2 miles of a tow would never recommend plus he was rude and very disrespectful. The worst experience I have ever had I would rather walk on broken glass bare foot and push my car the next time. Stay away from these guys. read more
