What I really love is that I've never felt like she was pushing me into anything (which she easily could have done - I was asking about whitening options). Instead, she was very honest about my options. You can tell Dr. Diana truly cares to get to know her patients, She's so pleasant I don't think I could change her for anyone else. The dentist shaved down a bottom tooth even when I mentioned this was not the reason for the tooth chipping. Completely disregarded anything I had to say and spoke to me as if I was an uneducated child that couldn't comprehend the sorcery he was about to perform. Now, the shaved tooth is razor sharp. Having the other front tooth previously chip, the respective bottom tooth was not shaved down. My bottom teeth are uneven and the tooth is significantly smaller (both at the top and in the front, compliments of the "minor adjustment"), even though I was reassured it wouldn't be. The top tooth has once again chipped no more than a week later. The dentist stated he would be more "aggressive" if this were to happen. Since I went in with one tooth issue and left with two, I'm going to have to respectfully pass on this "aggressive" procedure. I was told the previous was minor so aggressive makes me fear what that procedure would hold in store for me. Stating this would have been the course of other dentists begs to question why my other tooth is still holding strong and the unnecessary requirement to shave down the bottom. Nearly identical scenarios, different dentists. I now have two issues plaguing me daily as a result of this visit. As I was trying to gather myself in my car, upset about my uneven and smaller bottom tooth, along with the top. The dentist knocked on my window, having followed me to my car to only again state that I probably couldn't understand what was done. It was very uncomfortable to have him follow me into the parking lot and confront me. Demeaning to say the least and insulting to my intelligence. Maybe, I don't fully understand his profession but to speak to someone as if they are ignorant or brainless was very unprofessional. I would not want to step foot in there again. I tried for months to get used to it and just could not. I hated it. So, I asked for the same type of permanent bridge on the bottom. It's very embarrassing to not have my front 4 bottom teeth, and my job involves visiting multiple people every day. He told me he could do it and would fight to have it done with the insurance. I had even applied for the credit I would need to get it done. (It was not cheap) Next thing I know it's been denied by insurance. I come to find out after many calls and attempts to appeal that this cowardly lying SOB told the insurance he couldn't recommend it. While still telling me he would fight to get it done. Obviously, we have left the guy and would recommend you go see someone else. I am sure he is fine for cleanings, but so is a dental hygienist. If you need more than that or a fluoride treatment, go to a better skilled and less cowardly dentist.

I reached out online and told them how much pain I was in. They took my pain seriously, emailed me back quickly, and booked an appointment for me with short notice. I was embarrassed because I knew my teeth were in bad shape. But everyone I talked to from beginning to end was so warm and friendly that I felt comfortable right away. After Dr. Schoening examined my teeth, I was referred to an oral surgeon (who was also excellent) to deal with some teeth that couldn't be saved. And Dr. Schoening came up with a plan to get my other teeth in good shape. I had a deep cleaning, which must have been a real chore for Dr. Schoening with how bad my teeth were. But Dr. Schoening never made me feel ashamed. He made sure I was physically comfortable as he worked, and he did an excellent job on my teeth. I'm so relieved to have found such an excellent dentist, and the entire team is incredible. My teeth feel and look a lot better. I've got my next appointment scheduled in 3 months, and I plan on coming back again and again. Also, the views from the dentist chairs are fantastic!
