Painful. That sums up my nail salon appointment. I do fill-ins with a new color every three weeks. My original plan was to go to the salon in Fayetteville because they did an AMAZING job last time. They were affordable (only $50) and I loved the cat's eye color. I felt like my hands were IN good hands. However, I saw a place in Oak Hill next to Big Lots and thought I would give them a try. At first, I thought it was new. Then, the guy told me they'd been open for ten years. My bad. I found a really pretty pink cat's eye that I liked. I didn't see prices listed, which wasn't a huge deal breaker. When he began drilling the old color off, it started hurting. I'm talking BURNING. The tool must have been faulty or old. It felt like my fingers were on fire. I gritted my teeth. I didn't want to make a scene or seem like a cry baby. When he started working on my cuticles, he drew blood multiple times. Even when he was done with the color and fill-in, I had to literally clean blood out of my nail bed. I snapped pictures but deleted them when I saw MORE blood on my fingers. He used that drill from hell repeatedly. It was so bad that at one point, I told myself that if I lived through childbirth, I can live through this. No joke. The heat that the drill was putting off was not normal... or he wasn't doing something right. Something was very wrong. The polish was sloppy. I had polish on my fingers and the sides of my hands. I had to scrape it off my skin and file down the sides of my nails more when I got back into my car. I didn't ask for magnetic flower designs on some of my nails, but he put them on my nails anyways. I'm not super upset with the flowers. However, you can't really see them with this particular color. Actually, the whole cat's eye isn't as intense as my old cat's eye color. It's a pretty pink, but it doesn't give me the WOW factor that the sample did when I selected it. The polish is messed up on my middle nail on the left hand and it has a bubble on my thumb nail on my right. My fingers are still sore. It's sad because I see getting my nails done as a therapeutic experience -- my time for relaxation. This experience was anything BUT that. Next time, I'll just go back to Fayetteville. Oh, and they were $65, not including tip. read more

I went in for the classic pedicure. Establishment is nice, good customer service. However, my feet still are callused and cracked. Everyone in my party had the same issue. The pedicure was very short was very disappointing as they are too quick. read more

called ahead of time and they said the wait was 20 minutes, we arrived 15 minutes later, signed in, then sat there for an hour while people who walked in after us got sat down before us. wouldn't recommend. The other females were frustrated with the wait time as well. they will sit you in a seat and let you wait another 30 minutes before they touch you. read more

I'll be honest, I LOVE pedicures...Hubby travels for work so anytime I get to go out town with him, I like to go have a pedicure, big cities, small towns...whatever & I have had some pretty fantastic ones along the way. Today, however Antoine (apologies if I'm spelling wrong) was absolutely the BEST!! Polite, hospitable, friendly AND paid attention to detail. It'd been well over a month since my last pedi (and I work on my feet 10+ hours) so they were pretty gross, but he took his time & got them back to where they should be. If anyone is remotely close to Fayetteville, WVa & have sore feet or are in need of a little 'Me Time' check this place out!! *Especially loved the workers children were allowed in there. Every time I've gone here, I only get pedicures. They are amazing!! My most recent experience was the best by fair and my pedicure took 45 minutes (I got the second option on their menu) and it included an amazing massage, a paraffin was, and so much more. They always take their time and do a great job. 10/10 recommend. read more

I have been to this nail salon a few times. Every time I go I have not been satisfied. One time the lady broke my nail completely in half and then continued to do stuff to it while it was burning. Another time the man was very rude and would not listen to what i wanted. Their job is to please the costumer and they do very little of that. It is highly overpriced as well. On my way to Fayetteville to go white water rafting, we had a short stop here. My friends and my sis love to have pedicure ( honestly, I didn't care much about my nails, but I love foot massage). We were surprised by the service and friendliness. They even offered shangrila, wine,and snack while we were having the best pedicure ever! My sister had her manicure done. She loved it!!! Disappointing - Moved to WV from MD where there's a nail salon on every corner to one option...Prices are very high in comparison. Considering the cost of living difference I was shocked to find prices are almost double. Staff was very friendly and offered drinks, snacks but I'd rather have decent prices or an amazing pedicure. Pedicure was not great-about average-expected a lot better experience for the price. Feet were still rough in spots, polish was chipped same day-usually walk out of a salon and nails grow out before the polish on my toes chip. Gave two stars just for staff friendliness and cleanliness. read more

Was not pleased! After telling them I only wanted gel polish on my nails and toes they insisted on a manicure and then they insisted on a pedicure so I had to tell them once again I just wanted them polished with gel. The gel polish is supposed to be soak off gel polish and the polish has came off of two of my nails. read more
