Myself, and my 85 year old father pulled the carpet, removed the carpet pad, and moved one piece of furniture. We had two fans ourselves (one being industrial) that we put in the area, and then called Tobin. They came and supplied a dehumidifier and a couple of fans. Tobin stated that it would be around 900 dollars. Which seemed reasonable because we handled most of the hard items. The following week, the dollar amount was paid in full, and the fans were removed. My father then received a phone call stating that what was just part of the amount. They wanted $2200.00 more! They stated they have two separate departments. One that tears down and one that puts it back together. This is not agreed upon verbally. Then claiming there are two separate departments when this was NOT communicated upon arrival at the house. Their invoicing practice is fraudulent and dishonest. I will NEVER use them again for any business. I recommend ANYONE ELSE in Idaho Falls. Don't bother having the owner respond to this review. Update: Tobin's owner visited homeowner and reduced the bill.

Why she…read morehad thought it was okay to store paint in our master bedroom is a different story, but living with two large dogs and two small children should tell you the consequence of my painter's poor decision: a half gallon of paint poured directly onto our brand new carpet (only two weeks old). Fortunately, Medalist Cleaners responded fast. They told me to drop a damp/wet towel on the mess and wait for them to suck it clean with their industrial wet-vac. They arrived about an hour later and went to work. 30 minutes after that, they had the paint completely sucked up. The fellow doing the cleaning asked me to check it for my satisfaction and I got in there and really rubbed my fingers and palms down into the carpet and padding. My hands came away looking clean, though closer inspection reviewed a very tiny, almost invisible residue in the cracks of my hands. I asked them to give it a second cleaning and the fellow obliged.
