The Gamay Nior was delightful. His wife bakes some of the best bread I ever tasted hands down. One of the better tastings I have gone to.

With vendors from local wineries and eateries, there will be something here for everyone in your crew. Grabbed a beer flight at Neighborhood Brewing - standouts were the Lime Lager and IPA. Ladies in my party had cocktails at Workshop Spirits, thinking they were great and refreshing. We all gathered for food at Ward's. We had the nachos and Potato Confit Flatbread - both were super good, including the cilantro crema of the nachos. The peach Bellini machine wasn't ready when we first arrived, but by the end it was available to give us testers and we might come back just for those. TIP: drinks can only be consumed in the patio of the establishment you're buying from, but food can be delivered to any of those patios. Centre seating is table service by Ward's that allows you a taste of beverages from any of the vendors. Also, the water features around the center are pet (and people) friendly for cooling off on a hot day. The outdoor environment, even on a hot day, was a nice setting for appreciating the surrounding area. Also enjoyed the acknowledgment of First Nations' people who first inhabited the area (like all good Canadian establishments).

The wine tasting was hosted by the hilarious Elena, the owner of the winery. The audience could not stop laughing as if we were all at a comedy show. She gave explanation of each wine we tasted while her partner poured the samples. In total, we were able to taste 12 out of the 13 wines that the winery produced. We started on white wines, moved onto reds, and finished with dessert wines. Honestly, everything was absolutely delicious. If I lived closer, I would be here regularly and store a bunch of their bottles in my pantry. On this trip, I bought a bottle each of the 2022 Sage Grand Reserve, 202 The Pearle, 2020 Blueberry, and 2022 The Flame. The whole experience was amazing, from the gorgeous vineyard to the delicious wine tasting.

They were all so unlike anything I've had before. And she took us through twelve wines! The place itself is gorgeous and I'd love to have a picnic here. The only downside was the tasting was quite rushed. At one point I wasn't done my wine before water was added to rinse things out. At another time my friend was still drinking her wine when a different wine was added to the glass.

We loved our visits with Bill in the Wine cabin, tasting is beautiful wines. Now, Duermott and Danielle have taken up the barrel, and are continuing the stewardship of the terroir. We came down for the Pig Out 2025 festival and made our mandatory visit to the winery. We brought our own picnic, sat on the large deck, which has a breathtaking view of the golf course and the valley below. The sky was blue-blue-blue, the sun hot, we were grateful for the massive sail shade. Savanna, the lady working in the tasting room was attentive and kind. We had a wonderful tasting, excellent wine - but I have to say "The Rose made the day". Cool, refreshing - and meeting all of the tasting notes. It paired well with the charcuterie. Thank you both, Danielle and Duermott for your exceptional hospitality. Finally, a wine club where I don't feel like a 'face-less' number. All the best for the growing season.

Every single red was incredible and I loved each one! They also have 2 wines that are not available for tasting (Madcap - predominantly Merlot and Two Hoots - predominantly Cab Sauv). These were both excellent table wines. Super easy to drink! Thank you Sue and Fairview Cellars for your outstanding service and wine!

Our first year, I went with the steak (which was excellent), and most of our group ordered the seafood linguine and sablefish. But then... one brave soul in our party ordered the grilled cheese with prosciutto and soup. Naturally, we teased him -- who orders a grilled cheese at a place like this? Well, the joke was on us. He had struck gold. That grilled cheese prosciutto sandwich was next-level. Ever since, it's been the reason we come back year after year. Rich, savory, perfectly crisped -- it's comfort food with class. I genuinely look forward to it all year and savor every bite. Pro tip: pair it with a chilled glass of Gewürztraminer. It's an unexpectedly perfect combo that turns a humble sandwich into an unforgettable dining experience. Five stars -- not just for the food, but for the memories this place has helped create.

We had the Cabernet franc to start with. Good wine with a really nice nose, but give it time to breathe as it opens up nicely. Appetizers were all really good and the clams were a must to have. Dip the bread they provide in the sauce too, you won't be disappointed. Desserts, all were worth trying as well. Excellent panoramic views of the area from their heated patio was a plus as well. Service and food quality will certainly bring us back again.

My friend and I ended our 5 day tour tasting wines throughout Okanagan Valley at Oliver/Osoyoos and Road 13 was definitely our favorite for the area. The tasting room is grand - just step beyond the massive front door into their modern, vaulted ceiling tasting room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the vines and lake beyond! We ended up chatting with our pourer about wine (and life) for nearly 2 hours! It was a fun experience and my friend and I both ended up purchasing bottles to go. My favorite wine was their Chenin Blanc (regular and sparkling)! Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Oliver, BC.
