There's easy parking on side streets, especially if you have an early morning class. We booked an Align/Define class around 6pm the night before for a 7:30am class. The vibrating plate was an interesting experience. You need grip socks like pilates or barre. The class was only 27 minutes but I definitely felt like I got a good workout in. The instructor doesn't yell at you and the music isn't too loud. The instructor I had didn't correct your form or touch anyone, which is a good and bad thing.

I've been eyeing Platefit on Classpass for about a year. I was pregnant at the time and wanted to try out different workouts but never made it to Platefit before I got too big to do intense cardio. It's been 5 months since I had my daughter and I finally had the chance to check out Platefit yesterday! Let me tell you, even though the workouts are only 30 min, they are intense AF. We were doing jumping jacks, squats, tricep dips, planks, up down planks, push ups, crunches, etc all on a vibrating plate. No breaks in between. We just transitioned from one rep to the next. This is the perfect class for someone who wants a FULL BODY workout but doesn't have a lot of time. I'd say this workout felt tougher than childbirth (but, I also didn't get epidural before class lol). I'm definitely coming back. Special shout-out to Angela who worked the front desk. She was also in class and really helped guide me through the workouts, which I really appreciated. I would have been lost without her lol she was so welcoming and kind, and honestly, set the tone for my workout and first time experience at Platefit. Thank you, Angela!!!!

    I love my body

I have a genetic condition called Lymphedema, it's an autoimmune condition that creates excess fluid in my lower body. I am experiencing immediate relief from the PLATEFIT vibration therapy using the medical platefit device along with the cardio/strength workout in each class. My legs have noticeably reduced inflammation and swelling Lymphatic message is a temporary solution. PLATEFIT vibration therapy provides a proven solution by improving muscle conditions along with microcirculatio. I started going 1x a week and now I'm up to 4x. an added benefit is improved balance. I'm 58 and balance is important for mind and body strength. PLATEFIT is next level!!! Thank you PLATEFIT ‍‍‍ Hollis

The Yoga Space: Minimalist, with warm wood tones, all sun-lit by a giant oval skylight overhead. The Class (Flow with Bailey Kai): This was a music-driven, cue-based flow that works for all levels. Bailey's teaching style is beginner-friendly for anyone who is looking to explore yoga in a beautiful setting with great music. She guides the movement first, then names the pose in English. It allows the body to learn easily, which is a great for new students. The class unfolded as one long, continuous flow that gradually built. Near the end, we were offered an optional peak pose of Birds of Paradise. As we down-regulated with grounded stretching, the playlist slipped into a moody, hypnotic feel of "Want It" by Mk.gee (gentle, inward, & beautifully timed: https://youtu.be/ZXVCmYWCOwI?si=U1tWC20pIELUMylK), followed by grounded stretching and savasana. I brought a friend (one of my favorite yoga teachers;-), and she appreciated some of Bailey's creative cueing. Always a good sign when a teacher enjoyed class. This Class Is Perfect For: - Beginners who want clear, movement-based guidance - Intermediate students who love a smooth, continuous flow that gradually builds, with add-ons and a peak pose - Anyone wanting music-driven movement without added heat in a beautiful space Final Take: OPEN with Bailey Kai delivers an accessible, long flow in a beautiful sun-lit space. Perfect when you want to generate your own heat and move in a steady, continuous rhythm. Practical Notes: Street parking nearby and a $5 lot across the street for OPEN clients. Mats and towels provided. Water station, bathroom, sauna, and cold plunge available.

Some of the people working there have been helpful. Now, on to a parking issue today when leaving. I was parked in the inner spot, that means that one of the attendents need to move the other car. Well, that took say 15 minutes as this parking guru was too busy doing nothing and I raised my voice at bit to say "when are you going to move this other car," and he was far away from me at the time. When the jerk finally started to walk to the car he told me to be polite. I am polite but not after the wait on the tarmac without a response from the cockpit. Ugh...the parking here is such a mess and I wish they would hire some decent folks, pay them well and all could be happy.
