PLEASE DO NOT GO YOU CAN BE IN DANGER. Several years ago I…read morewent to him to extract my wisdom teeth (I had been going with him for my braces for 5 years already and had no problems. I removed them during summer. He removed four of them, and gave me NO ANTIBIOTICS neither medicine for the pain (which even the nurse there asked him if he was sure) he also never said that being many years on birth control can increase chances of infection. Three days after the procedure my jaw was locked and I couldn't eat. So I made an appointment with him. When I arrived the nurse looked worried, I was already crying with pain, he just gave me antibiotics and meds for the pain. However at that time ( a week after the procedure ( since I couldn't even open my mouth I'm sure he knew I needed to go to the hospital. Which he did not. Not only this was NEGLIGENCE but this guy had the nerve to claim our insurance in the US, even though I paid him for the procedure in Mexico he found a way for our insurance to pay for him too in the United States. Please be careful, I was 15 days at the hospital, had two surgeries and it was horrible and painful, I couldn't move my jaw and the infection moved to my neck, they had to open my cheek and neck and sew tubes to them to clean the infection.

Great dental service. They gave me the quality dental care that I expected. Amazing customer…read moreservice.

After much trial and error trying to find the perfect dentist south of the border, a friend in Los…read moreAngeles suggested I give Dr. Ramirez a try. It was the tip of a lifetime. The problem with finding a great dentist is finding one that is super-skilled at what they do, really care about you as a patient and are affordable. It's easy to find one with one of these things, not super hard find one with two, but really, really hard to find one with all three. Dr. Ramirez has all three. With other dentists I found in Tijuana (some of which are highly rated on this site), so many are just running tourist mills. I always felt rushed, I felt pressured to get treatments I didn't need or the price I was quoted changed sometimes mid-procedure. On the other hand, Dr. Ramirez is always willing to sit and explain every problem, procedure and options at length in English which is great for Americans like me that know no Spanish. He is very honest about expected outcomes and follow-ups. It is very clear that he takes his work very seriously and really cares about you as a patient and a person. He goes out of his way to make sure the process is painless and comfortable. His finished product is the best I've had in my life. He also quotes a price and sticks with it which will be at least half and maybe more than what you would pay in the states for the exact same work. I could not be happier in finding Dr Ramirez. I have recommended him to my family and friends and even created a Yelp account just to write this long-winded review. I hope I don't have to see him again for a little while, because, well, that means I am having a problem, but I am relieved that when that problem comes, I have a great place to go to.

Dr. Brenda Torres is an excellent dentist. She fixed a lot of the problems that another dentist…read more(Washington dental) we went to caused. Her place is clean and cozy, she is not a churn and burn operation where she is just trying to get as many patients in and out as possible. She actually gives you the attention and care you want and deserve. It is her who does the diagnosis and the treatment herself. Unlike other places that has a dental assistant do the work. Beware of the bigger operations where they do that. They send in a dentist to do the diagnosis and before you know it, some assistant is going the work lol You'll want to call ahead and make sure they won't do that bait and switch tactic on you. That's what I love about coming here is I can count on someone who is qualified to do both diagnosis and treatment. Especially if you're gonna pay the same price, why not have a real dentist do the work? Her prices are very good. She even accepts american insurance and credit cards or even paypal. There is also free WiFi to help you pass the time and not consume all your data while roaming in Mexico. I highly recommend her for any dental work you need done. She even appears on a local talk show on hola azteca in Tijuana weekly talking about health and dentistry. Definitely use her for any dentist work Wifi network: infinitium254a4_5 Pw: 9138993000

Dr. Varela didn't just treat the problem; she took the time to explain what was happening, why it kept happening, and even recommended Botox to help with the grinding. I didn't move forward with it at the time, but looking back, she was absolutely right. What really stayed with me was the way she handled everything -- with patience, professionalism, and a level of genuine care that's hard to find. Alejandra was just as amazing: kind, attentive, and reassuring in a moment when I honestly felt embarrassed and stressed. I'm heading back soon to finally get the Botox treatment, and I feel nothing but gratitude knowing I'm returning to a team I truly trust. X‑Dentistry has earned my full confidence. I highly recommend Dr. Varela and her team.

I had a filling done here that failed within four days…read more To be clear, Barbara was excellent, she helped save my tooth and prevent a root canal. Unfortunately, the actual filling work done by the dentist was very poor. Issues I experienced: 1. The filling chipped and fell off within the first week, in three separate pieces. 2. The contact point between the repaired molar and adjacent tooth was incorrect floss passes straight through with no resistance, creating a gap that was not there before. 3. There was excess filling material left on the outside of the tooth. 4. During bite adjustment, the dentist ground down not only the filling but my actual molar and the neighboring teeth, even though the bite was still off. At this point, the tooth is worse than when I came in. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the restorative work and would not feel comfortable having this dentist perform fillings again. I hope X Dentistry reviews this case and takes appropriate action or provides additional training, as I would not want another patient to go through a similar experience.
