I've been coming to Plastic Surgery Vegas for years, and it's truly one of those places I trust completely with my skin. The injectors here are fantastic. I've typically gone to Kim for my injections -- she's amazing -- and while her schedule has shifted, I've started seeing another injector who has been just as professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. The level of care across the board is incredibly consistent. But I have to give a very special shoutout to Dr. Alison Tam. In my opinion, she is hands down the best dermatologist in Las Vegas. Yes -- this is a private practice and they don't take insurance, but I can honestly say it is 100% worth it. I now send all of my friends here, and even my daughter is a patient. Dr. Tam has been able to identify and address things that other dermatologists have missed, and her attention to detail is unmatched. She truly listens, takes her time, and approaches everything with care and expertise. And her medical assistant, Gail, is just as incredible. The two of them together create such a warm, welcoming experience -- you feel genuinely cared for the moment you walk in. Everyone is amazing here. Higgins worked on me 15 years ago. I see Dr Tam twice a year. This time, it was Dr Silver who saved my nose. I had an accident on my nose in FL. My family doctor got worried and started making calls. Dr Silver squeezed me the same day and he injected 6 shots of hyaluronidase over those 2 days. I almost lost my nose and needed reconstructive surgery down the road. He also checked on me every 3 days afterwards and follow up with me. He was so caring, super attentive and amazing in every way. 6 weeks later, although my nose is not 100% healed but daily hyperbaric and his care helped. No more surgery needed. I just couldn't thank him more. Dr Tam saved me from a 2nd degree burn on my face last year as well. I simply owe my face to this place. They are the best. read more

Angela did an amazing job and really changed my perspective on how a lip treatment experience should be. After having my first treatment a year ago at a different medical spa, I wondered how people could do this given the massive amounts of bruising and swelling I experienced. My friend suggested I try plastic surgery Vegas so I made an appointment and was booked with Angela. I arrived for my appointment and noticed the facility was clean and nice and the staff was friendly. Once in the room, Angela worked with me to ask what my expectations were and showed me some different products. She took the time to really speak with me. I never felt hurried out of the office. She was really nice and made it a comfortable atmosphere. And she took her time with the procedure. I barely felt her injections at all, and I'm a baby when it comes to needles. And when it came to the molding she wasn't as forceful as my last experience. I called this place to get a consultation with Dr Silver and they try to charge me a consultation fee of $100 and told me that there was not other way to see the doctor unless I pay first. My friend was the one who recommended me to him and she never paid any consultation fee. And the receptionist was telling me that my friend was not telling the truth. Like what?!?! Needless to say I'm not going to do anything with a "Dr" that need money first to keep a client. If you are SO sure of how good you are why are you charging to try to keep a patient?! Rarely do I wish Yelp would allow us a special 10 star review allowance. To say Plastic Surgery Vegas saved my life may be a bit extreme but looking back...it's kinda how I felt/feel. My original visit was to see Dr. Edwards. I had a different surgeon maybe 10 years ago who I thought was great. This time around I did a TON of research on who is currently the best in town. I had it narrowed down to 3 doctors in particular. So I made my appointment with Dr. Edwards to get the ball rolling. My husband and I had decided that no matter what we hear at the appointment, we would still get more opinions and to make sure I was comfortable with the doc who'd be cutting into me. Both the hubs and I were blown away. Each person we encountered was genuinely friendly. Not like fake smiles and shit. They were nice, allowed for the million questions I had and then came Dr. Edwards. He is an incredible man and doctor. Not pushy one bit and honest! This office is up to date on current in house technology meaning they snapped pics and then went over, in great detail what I could expect. Using pictures of myself and showing me on the computer what the outcome would be. To keep this short, let me just say, we walked out and looked at one another and said, this is the guy! I didn't need to consult with anyone else. Dr. Edwards gave me realistic expectations and once done, he exceeded mine! From the time I had my first appointment/consultation to the day of surgery, I would say it was a total of maybe 4 weeks. I wanted to have my surgery done before the end of summer and they made it happen. Dr. Edwards performed his magic! Next up, Dr. Tam. She's, in my opinion, a life saver for sure! She's the in house dermatologist. She doesn't accept insurance and quite frankly, I don't care. She is worth every penny spent and then some. Not to get into too much detail, but I suffer from rosacea. I've had it for probably 8-10 years. Last summer my face looked as though I was some dirty faced teenager! It was bright red and my rosacea had decided to add some flair to my face by turning into painful red bumps! Like wtf? Really?! I've seen doctors at Strimling Dermatology as well as Las Vegas Skin and Cancer. I was desperate to look normal! Both other doctors I had seen would prescribe me pills and topical creams that didn't do anything! Seriously! Nothing! I saw Dr. Tam, she gave me a detailed plan and options to heal my skin or put the rosacea in remission. Within a week of starting the new compound pharmacy cream, my face began to calm down/heal. I couldn't believe it! How could I see other doctors for the exact same reason and they couldn't figure out what would work? Ugh! What's funny to me is who goes to the doctor and says "I need help but I won't pay for anything" like I never told an insurance accepting doc "give me the cheapest drug possible. I won't invest in my own health". Dr. Tam told me about a few laser options that are known to treat rosacea and the scars I have because of it! What???? You mean there's more that can be done?! Long story short, I was given an option to do a photo facial along with another laser that specifically targets rosacea! I selected a package option that consists of 3 laser treatments over a series of months. Each comes with a specific facial exactly one week after each laser treatment. To button up this review, let me tell you my face is probably 85% better! My skin is smooth. No more breakouts. My husbands grandmother was standing in my kitchen recently and asked my husband in Spanish (so I wouldn't know what she was saying) "what has Ellen done to keep her skin so young looking?" I had to laugh! That was all the validation I needed! As I said before, this place is a life saver! They are miracle workers! I only wish I'd found them sooner! read more

I had a wonderful experience at Plastic Surgery Vegas with Dr. Edwards and his staff. Dr. Edwards has the best bedside manner of any plastic surgeon I have ever met with and is extremely knowledgeable on breast reconstruction. I was left looking and feeling very botched after having my breast implants removed via an en bloc capsulectomy performed by another surgeon. My journey with Dr. Andrew Silver began nearly a year ago after my neighbor had recommended I see him for a consultation regarding a procedure (PDO threads) that I had booked elsewhere. She had just gotten a facelift and neck lift and looked absolutely incredible only 10 days post-op. I noticed how quickly she was healing as well as her beautiful, natural results. She then showed me a photo of Dr. Silver and I called to make an appointment immediately. I was able to get in within a week or two which was nice, given his reputation as one of the top plastic surgeons in Las Vegas. I had a few other procedures I had recently taken interest in so I was looking forward to covering all of them in the consultation. When I arrived at his office I appreciated the aesthetic of the facility itself. It's warm and chic, similar to one of the five star resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. His entire staff, from the front desk, to nurses, assistants, and office managers are all extremely friendly, and welcoming. When I finally met Dr Silver, I was a little disappointed because he was wearing a mask, but he introduced himself and asked what my concerns were. I quickly realized how thorough he was, patient, and a perfectionist of his craft! All of the things you look for in a plastic surgeon. He detoured me from the PDO threads and explained in detail why. He answered all my questions, and gave his opinion; which is refreshing because he's conservative and I feel his approach "less is more"- helps give elevating results rather than changing anyone's unique natural beauty. I had botched lip filler from another office he helped dissolve. He was able to meticulously dissolve the migrated filler without dissolving all of it, so he didn't even have to add anymore! Last year the tiny bags under my eyes had started to bother me and I was feeling self conscious. Dr. Silver suggested a lower blepharoplasty with fat transposition for the results I was seeking. I could not be MORE IN LOVE with the results :) His surgery team was so caring and funny, or maybe it was me on the anesthesia, but either way it was a great experience. Preop was the following morning and my entire healing process from that procedure was seamless which I partially attribute to Stacie and her amazing pre-op, post-op instructions that she gives in person ; via email, and has written handouts. I'm also grateful for the healing pre/ post op vitamins they give you! Fast forward to today, I'm laying here on my sofa one day out from my second surgery (3rd procedure) with Dr Silver! This time I was correcting some excess fat sub-mental (double chin). I wanted to do it under general anesthesia as I was too chicken to do it awake, so I decided to try something I liked the look of that's popular throughout the entertainment industry right now, an endoscopic brow lift. What I call a "pony tail" brow lift. I'm slightly swollen on day two, but I'm already ecstatic with the results I'm seeing!!! Same experience with surgery yesterday. Everyone was on their A game at 6am. I felt completely comfortable thanks to the whole team. I will update this review with before / after pics of myself as soon as I'm healed. I saw this center twice - one for tear duct fillers and one for coolscultping. Dr. Higgins was really good at injecting the areas I requested and Whitney was great and personable when it came to the cool sculpting treatment. The missing star is for the front desk receptionists - they all seem to be rude, pissed, and short, which is completely out of tune with the rest of such an elegant establishment. Also, the doc recommended that I undergo two cool sculpting treatments (but they have to be performed at a 6 weeks interval or so) but he wasn't sure whether I would need the additional one. Nevertheless, the front desk charged me for two treatments immediately and weeks later it turned out I didn't need the second one. So in essence I paid interest on something I didn't end up needing. Recently started shopping around for an esthetician - I have fairly good skin but wanted to start some preventative maintenance & look into Botox. I'll start off by saying the office itself is beautiful and Dina was kind but not what I expected. 1. I made it clear while booking my consult that I DID NOT want a facial. I had never had one and wasn't sure what to expect ...Dina (my esthetician) took some pictures of my skin and then asked me to lay down as soon as we got in the room. She started picking and rubbing on my face, only telling me what was going on when I asked. It was like pulling teeth. 2. On the forms they give you to fill out it asks "What treatments are you interested in?" I checked things like Botox, Hand Rejuvenation, etc... ...apparently they don't even look at that because I got no information about anything other than Botox and that's because I asked her about it at the end of my treatment. She actually told me I should go to Advanced Esthetics for Botox - because it's "overpriced here" 3. Later that night I did my usual nightly Skin care routine - I use tea tree oil almost every day before moisturizing. That night my cheek was on fire. After looking closer I realized I had small cuts from Dinas dermablading. Not cool. (Will post pic) My first facial cost me $200 and it sucked. read more

I had two procedures done here just over 4 months ago. I would highly recommend this facility and these doctors. Thank you for taking such excellent care of me Dr. Edwards, Dr. Tam, Jacqueline, Gail and staff! I appreciate the time spent with me from consultation through now! I had breast revision surgery due to a capsular contracture on my left breast. Over the years it had become painful so it was time to get it corrected. Dr. Edwards recommended using strattice since this was the second capsular contracture on my left breast. My first two capsular contractures occurred within the first month post-surgery. As stated above, I am currently 4 months out of surgery and can say so far so good! I've done enough research to know that this can happen at any time, but as of right now, I have no evidence of a capsular contracture and am beyond thrilled about that! Since I was going to be recovering from my breast revision surgery, I decided to get a chemical peel too. I got the 40% TCA peel a day after my surgery, when I had my first post-op follow up. Dr. Tam explained the entire procedure during my initial consultation. This peel is no joke ... plan on spending at least a week mostly staying indoors. I really didn't want to see anyone right after I had this done. As with all procedures, the aftercare is especially important. I prolonged my own healing as I didn't follow all of the instructions she gave me. I'm 4 months out and can still see some hyperpigmentation but the overall texture of my skin is amazing. While I have had good experiences with Dr Higgins, I can't say the same for the dermatology/aesthetics side of the practice. After getting another unsightly thick, red scar after a scar revision, Dr Higgins told me they would "take care of it." He takes pride in his work and is a perfectionist. After seeing Dr Tam and getting an injection to hopefully flatten the scar, I was given a $160 invoice. I was and still am baffled. I was told that it's because Dr Higgins and Dr Tam are two separate practices, however, I was never provided an estimate beforehand or made aware of ANY costs. Again, I was told they would "take care of it." If you decide to go here, be aware of this shady caveat and of the pretentious checkout receptionist on Dr Tam's side. read more

I came here strictly for their stellar Latisse deal I found online (5ml for $150.00). I decided to go check it out and see if I can get those doe-eyed lashes I've been dreaming of. I gave them a jingle and confirmed their advertised deal was still being offered. The deal was on and I booked my appointment on the spot. I checked in with the front desk and filled out all the regular medical forms for my appointment. I then was escorted back to an exam room and met with Dr. Higgins who was very welcoming and warm. He was very thorough with explaining the ins and outs of Latisse during my visit. He never once tried to push or up-sell me into any other procedures (which I appreciated). Everyone in the office was helpful and upbeat. It wasn't a pretentious atmosphere at all (I just assumed it would be). The total time walking in and out the door was roughly an hour.I've been using Latisse nightly as instructed and I'm excited to see the final result. It's only been for three weeks and was advised I should see full results around the 3-4 month mark. I can tell it's working a little bit already. I was impressed with the upscale office, my friendly Doctor, and my overall pleasant experience. I will have wait to see the full results but would recommend the office for Latisse.
