I hate this Plaster Fun Time location. I really do. The staff here are extremely rude and discriminating. I visited on Saturday, Nov. 14 with my younger cousins and we were just looking to kill some time before heading home for dinner. Upon arriving, we weren't greeted as there was a birthday party going on. There were a few other walk-ins besides us and they seemed to be just going with the flow.
After choosing our pieces, we went up to the register in order to purchase and get our painting supplies. There weren't any tables left for a group of five to sit down anymore, and after purchasing we kind of just stood in the middle of the room. A mother from the birthday party said we could sit at their table, even though they still had the party going on. An employee immediately came up to us as we sat down, asking us to move to the front where the walk-ins were sitting even though there weren't any place for us to sit down. The mother approached the employee, saying that she said it was fine and the employee didn't bother us again.
As we were painting, one of my younger cousins went up to go purchase some chips from the vending machine. While he was reaching into the vending machine to grab his chips, another employee immediately shouted at him asking what he was doing and why he was standing there. He was thoroughly confused and showed her the chips and she awkwardly moved on. My younger cousins aren't thieves. Don't accuse a nine year old boy of being a thief.
Later on, a disabled woman was trying to get by our table and I helped her family member move the bench in order to be able to help the disabled woman get around and an employee shouted at us and said that we weren't allowed to do that whatsoever even though we were just trying to make sure that the woman was able to get around - this really was the last straw, the employees discriminate against other races as well as those who are disabled. They aren't willing to help, and they accuse people of doing things that shouldn't really have any effect on them and really be accused for.
I hate writing long reviews and ranting, but the women here seriously don't seem to have any type of means to be working with people. They're straight up rude, and the employee continued to discuss me asking her why we couldn't move the bench and pointing at the disabled woman while she was talking trash to her other co-worker. It's disgusting behavior. These employees are working around children and parents all day, be respectful. I hate coming to this Plaster Fun Time and really never plan on returning because of such spiteful and disgusting people they are. read more
