At around 4.30 pm on a January Saturday there were a few customers who seemed happy enough with their tea and cakes. The 'smile and greet' from the serving lady did not happen and she told us the closing time was 4.45 when in fact it was 5 pm.(pic) We wondered why ! We only wanted tea for two and this quickly appeared and we paid the reasonable price of £3. Later another staff member convinced us that they have good allergy policies in place with little risk of cross contamination of food on display. Parking is free and adjacent, easy disabled access, comfy cushioned chairs and everything spotlessly clean with a grade 5 hygiene certificate on display. The rest of this trading complex includes a Food Hall with high priced but apparently good quality items. There is also a garden sales area and a Trading Post both of which are worth a visit.
