143/100 in 2016 challenge…read more I have been to this location a few times now. A nice well kept, very organized store. They also just opened a second location in Orlando. I was trying to start a spice/vegetable garden and didn't necessarily want to get the advice on how to start it from per se a store that doesn't specialize in that. Grow Giant fit the build. I went in, explained what I wanted to do and they directed me in how to start my garden. I don't think I realized how many different fertilizers there are. They explained all them to me including which ones would be better to grow in the area I had planned to start my garden in. They also explained things like how much light, how much spacing, how much water I would need. I almost started rethinking my decision. In the end, all went well and I am glad I have Grow Giant to thank. Great friendly helpful employees.Extremely patient with me and my questions. In the end, I just went with the spice garden. I will be returning. Highly recommend.

Another plant shop, and it's amazing!! I love supporting small businesses! The owner is super nice!…read moreShe was knowledgeable about the questions I was asking her. I got my dream plant and I'm trying not to kill it! (Wish me luck)! Some of the plants did need a little attention but coming from someone who owns 150+ houseplants, I cannot imagine how much upkeep it takes for an entire packed store. The prices seem to be on par with the plant market if you know anything about the pricing. It fluctuates often! It was a bit hard to walk into the front. For me, that wasn't a problem. It literally felt like a jungle. However, I can see this being a potential problem if someone wanted a easier path way. I'll definitely be coming back here!

There were a lot to choose from, many rare plants in different stages. From cuttings to fairly mature plants. My plant is still going well and thriving. Plants have become so expensive lately. Either way, this place is lovely, many options and great quality. I may settle for cuttings while on a budget.

The woman was not the most personable, that's fine but I said the price online was $1.95 and she said, yes that's the online price. Our price was 2.50. So if I would have ordered online and picked up I would have saved $20. I have never visited a company that doesn't honor a price seen online. Lots of crab grass in the sod but weren't willing to fight that battle. Update: we ended up removing that section of sod. So money lost but we didn't see any other way because of how infiltrated it was with weeds.

Proceed with CAUTION for wedding florals. After what seemed…read morelike a great in person meeting with Kathy, everything went downhill. I ignored numerous red flags because we had a friend who used this shop for their wedding and had a good experience, however ours was far from good. To make a long horrific story short, the red flags included: WEEKS of delay in receving the intial proposal that was met with numerous excuses and reassurance everything was booked for our wedding (spolier: it never was), at one point the excuse was ownership changed so Kathy took her notes home, She called to verify some of our floral info which was pretty straightforward, She ignored the email of inspo pics, Kathy moved communication from the store's email to her personal email, the order was not a formal contract and never signed by either party even when I requested a signed copy (my lesson - should have pulled the plug here), a Square payment link that had a different business name attached, horrible spotty communication throughout all of this - I would have to email, call the store, and text Kathy numerous times for a response, once payment was made there was radio silence. Our wedding was 12 days away and we had not received any confirmation of our florals being ordered/prepared, my cooridnator was not able to get a response at all. Finally my MIL called the store and pressed for an answer (after they hung up on her and she called back) and they informed us the store had NO RECORD of my wedding, of our order, OR THE PAYMENT. The casually said maybe Kathy was doing the order on her own (not through the shop) which was never communicated to us and would not be allowed by our venue. We then sent an email requesting full refund given the order was never placed, no contract, etc and like MAGIC after 2 weeks of no answer - Kathy texted within 15 minutes. After some back and forth we were able to get a refund, which was the ONLY good part of this horrible experience that almost left us with no flowers for our wedding.
