Got a text from him at 830pm night before asking to change to time because he overbooked himself when I was working with a tight window for access to the home. Showed up and he was super in a hurry to make other appointments, could barely be bothered to explain what was happening ALL people present (broker, contractor, inspector) commented on his unprofessionalism and due to snow couldn't do scope but was charged $170 anyway for him being there 15 minutes. Needless to say spoke to a professional plumber later who was appalled at the charges and behavior. I'm sure he's a fine plumber but bedside manner is severely lacking and the broker who referred is going to let other brokers know what happened so their clients can beware.

Thank goodness we wanted a quote first because the price quoted was $1,850.00 for 2 hours work. $925.00 per hour is more than the best lawyers charge and belive me, we dodged a bullet here. Be careful and ALWAYS ask them for a quote 1st. They have a show-up fee of $59.95 so when their ridiculous quote is unacceptable, the company at least gets paid for gas and the employees time.

I started making phone calls because my food from refrigerator was going to get bad, I needed someone to come right away. The only plumber that could make it right away was Drain Man Plumbing. They did a fantastic job installing my new appliances with no questions asked. They went out of their way to run to home depot for extra pieces that were required. They even stayed after their working hours to ensure everything was installed and worked properly. I would definitely recommend them, do not listed to the bad reviews from earlier, they are totally slimy costumers.

After hearing nothing into the early afternoon on Monday, I called the office. The reception person said she would have a tech call me. An hour+ later, I had heard nothing back, and since it was getting late in the day I called again. Apparently the staff was on a "big job" with no idea of how long it could take. She wanted to push me off til the next day; I declined (this was why I called ahead!) She said, "I already waived the $100 emergency fee"...what emergency? It's not like my place was flooding, and when I called I didn't say, "I need a plumber in an hour" or something. It's apparently because "they wouldn't be in the area." I finally had her cancel the appointment. The new parent company is A&P Grease Trapping, and the Blue Whale number is now answered "A&P," which was confusing until I looked it up. But I do not recommend this plumber any longer; the scheduling and customer care needs a lot of work with this new arrangement.
