We were only given one option for an entertainment center for our living room. I should have known then that of a "decorator" can only give you one option..LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. We have been lied to by Rori Rhodes, Teresa Higdon, and MCGS concerning the delivery of our furniture. Apparently I am supposed to know the definitions of "Ready to Ship", " In Transit" , and "Ready for immediate delivery" actually mean 4-6 months, or in this case MAYBE the end of January, 2022....unless the factory in Vietnam closes AGAIN. Rori Rhodes, NEVER told us about any issues until pressed repeatedly. Today, December 22, 2021 she admitted that out furniture is indefinitely delayed. We paid by check, which means we can not file for a refund under our credit card. Now I know why she didn't want to take a credit card, because we would have been protected. Order whatever you want online, don't go here, they are doing the exact same thing you could do, and you would have more protection and you wouldn't have to pay the extra 20% for her "services". My furniture doesn't match. My personal belongings are still in black buckets with yellow lids from Home Depot. My bedroom side table is a bucket. I have a 300 lb+ coffee table I can not move to clean under. I trusted Rori Rhodes and McGannon Showrooms... for what? $63,000 later I have no shelves, and I am living out of buckets. We went $13,000 over budget (and we were willing to spend more) to live in our beautiful condo that we have worked our entire life for. The pictures are reflective of the current state of our condo. I sold all of my furniture in late August/ Early September because we were going to get our furniture "any day now", but still nothing. There are no answers from anyone at MCGS or Bernhardt Furniture after multiple emails and phone call

It was scheduled for a three‑month delivery, with the remaining balance due then. The furniture is beautiful and was a significant investment, but the purchasing experience has been extremely frustrating. After nearly a year and a half of delays and repeated quality‑control issues, I cannot recommend them. * In July 2025, we were told the table was ready but the chairs were delayed. Amish requested final payment so delivery could be scheduled. * Delivery was then postponed because the truck carrying the chairs malfunctioned and the shipment was sent back for inspection. * In September 2025, the furniture arrived, but the table was unfinished on one end and had to be taken back for refinishing. * In October 2025, the table returned with scratches and damaged leaf ends. Amish informed us that a new table would need to be built and left the damaged one with us for Thanksgiving. * In January 2026, we were told the replacement table had been placed at the back of the production queue, adding another six‑month wait. * In May 2026, the new table arrived with chips and scratches. The delivery personnel did not bring it into the house because they saw the damage and contacted Amish, who then sent it to a refinisher. * In June 2026, we were told it missed the truck and would be delayed another month. * As of July 29, 2026, they are again attempting delivery. Would I shop there again? No.

I learned of KS Woodcraft watching HGTV while I was searching to have six (6) custom tables built…read more(8'x44" solid oak). I had spoken to multiple custom table builders before Ken and all of them informed me that they "were covered up" and would be at least two (2) years to even start. I called Ken figuring he would tell me the same (he was showcased on HGTV after all), but he spoke to me about my project...and he was able to come up with a build time that was six months, from initial invoice to me personally picking my tables up at his shop! Those six tables were built so well, that they survived a building fire five years later that destroyed every other piece of furniture. Ken was able to refurbish the tables (they had to be shortened due to warping, cracking and splitting of the wood from the heat) and you could not tell they had survived a fire. I then ordered another table from Ken four years later (a combo poker/game table with a removable table top). There was a HUGE problem though: the shipper damaged the table extensively when they delivered it...by throwing it off the truck in the middle of a snow storm and failed to notify ANYBODY that it had been delivered (which was SPECIFICALLY in the delivery instructions). The table was left overnight in a massive snow storm with the cover removed, pallet broken and plastice torn and when discovered the next morning sitting in the parking lot, the entire crate was filled with snow, ice, water, and nails/wood splinters from the broken pallet poking/scratching the table. The table was severely damaged. When Ken was notified and sent pictures of the condition it was discovered in (within fifteen minutes of the discovery), he informed me right then that he was building me a complete new replacement table at no charge to "make it right"...even though it was NOT his fault, but the shipper's. That is customer service almost beyond comprehension! I have since ordered four more of the combo card/game tables and will be picking them up in two weeks. I have gotten nothing but massive compliments on all of the tables he has built/repaired for me. I whole heartedly recommend him for any type of custom wood work, as I have seen multiple pieces other than tables (including an INCREDIBLE shelving unit), when I have been there to his shop. Ken is an outstanding craftsman and absolute professional who goes beyond the extra mile.
