I just arrived here for my appointment at 12:30 , my appointment was scheduled for 12:45. I received 2 confirmation phone calls. A voicemail was left once to let me know to confirm my appointment. I called back and the voicemail let me know if I planned on coming to my appointment I didn't need to do anything. Upon getting checked in the front desk lady turned my away due to the provider calling out and that I need to reschedule. Never once did front desk or provider say this in the voicemail. Nor did they send an email. I waited a week for this appointment to be turned away. The care quality is 0/10. I said it was okay and walked out front desk said okay and did NOT try and help. This is the absolute worst type of care to receive after countless of women have just had their rights to reproductive healthcare services taken away and abused. I absolute furious with this misconduct. Type of care goes down as 0/10, bare minimum effort from this planned parent staff. read more

People go to clinics because they know they have issues with their health and need to get checked out. My girlfriend had to come here to check on some stuff but she was rescheduled two times over the course of 2 months. They simply told her that the doctor she was set with was unavailable. What is the point of an appointment so far ahead? It almost feels they don't have any sense of responsibility to their patients or even think about they needed to go in. Doctors, if you're here to do your job, DO YOUR JOB. Understand that you may have responsibilities outside, but if you can't even attend an appointment SET A MONTH IN ADVANCE, and you'd reschedule your appointment 30 MINS before your appointment. Worst planned parenthood I ever been at... FIRST off the first time I came I was less than 10 minutes late because the location was not easy to find. The entrance is also towards the street not in the back inside the gated fence where you would expect it. FYI I was less than 10 minutes late and they wouldn't accept me. The SECOND time I came in I arrived at 3:35... I left around 5:30 cause I had a prior appointment at 6 cause I wasn't expecting it to take that long. I was in the WAITING ROOM FOR TWO WHOLE HOURS WITH AN APPOINTMENT. I've been too two other locations and I've never had this experience... THE WORST PLANNED PARENTHOOD EVER. Not only did I wait a long time but the Indian Lady with short hair was super rude... all I asked was when I was going to see the doctor after waiting over an hour which was reasonable and she gave me so much attitude... which was not expected. I've been to other locations and I've never been disrespected or even had to wait over two hours with an appointment. read more

I would not suggest this location. The staff are very unprofessional. The booking process was not user friendly. The appointment did not even come with a confirmation email. Next time, if someone is going to be late please maybe email a confirmation email and letting them know that your not able to be late for a certain time period due to a high demand of people (5 people in the lobby). Maybe this is why people don't want to work for Planned Parenthood for the unprofessionalism of the staff. It's sad that people need services and you guys refuse services. Had an appointment at Planned Parenthood today this morning and when I come here the staff is always super nice and very helpful today my doctor was Aaliyah and she was absolutely amazing and superb she was very helpful made me feel very comfortable all around a really great doctor I'm leaving this visit feeling super confident that my doctors are taking good care of me so it makes me feel great if you do get paired with an Aaliyah as your doctor be prepared for a great bright spirit and a hard-working woman who is very serious about her job she is outstanding if I can give her 10 Stars I would thanks again Aaliyah !!!! read more

Staff are great but man did it take a long time to get called in. I had an appointment at 12 and didnt get called until almost 1pm

The facility is clean, but that's the only pro. I waited for more than 40 minutes in the waiting area despite having an appointment. Then I had to wait another 50 minutes in the exam room just to get a refill!!! There was no pelvic exam required or anything!! This is completely unacceptable. Clients do have other things to do with their day!! I ended up having to leave without my refill because I had other things to do. The clinicians need to be more mindful of the other patients waiting to be seen. A birth control refill without a pelvic exam is not an hourlong visit. The clinicians should check their clients list for the day and see what each visit is for and take appropriate steps to ensure the client can receive proper service. I don't understand how it can take 50 minutes to get a provider to give the assistant the refill needed. Why wasn't it set aside already? Completely unacceptable Planned Parenthood!!! read more

I'm so incredibly grateful for this clinic. I've been without insurance but was able to get help with a serious condition for a very reasonable fee. Pap smear, consultation/treatment, and even birth control.I did have to wait 40+ minutes even with an appointment, but its a small price to pay at the end of the day. Knowing Planned Parenthood is there no matter how bad things may get is a huge comfort. Everyone in this office is so kind, enthusiastic, friendly, compassionate, open-minded, non-judgmental, and all around wonderful. I cannot value their service enough and donate extra every time I'm able. read more

This place is only worthy of one star and that is only because of the care and options available for low income. First time, I had an appointment and waited 30+ minutes to be checked in and taken back to a room which I then sat in there for an hour and half until a doctor came in. Second time, I had an appointment and due to an accident I called to let them know I was going to be late. I arrived and was told they didn't see anyone past 4:30pm (which no one told me on the phone) and had to reschedule until the following week. Third appointment was scheduled for 5:20pm and sat there for over an and hour until I was brought back. Sat in the room for another 30 minutes until someone saw me 10 minutes until closing. Why do they even take appointments???? GET IT TOGETHER! I have been to other planned parenthood and the experience is nothing like the one at this location. read more

I made an appointment a couple of weeks ago and was amazed by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the waiting area. When the health advocate (I forget the term used at this site for medical assistant) called me to come with him for vital signs, I felt anxious at leaving my partner in the waiting room as I had asked him to come with me, and Manny assured us both that he could come in after the vitals. I was happily surprised by Manny's patient, attentive care; his body language was gentle and non threatening and he even crouched down to be at eye level with me when he took my pulse. I complimented his "bedside manner"-- it was much appreciated in my fragile state. I would like to pay it forward here by giving him recognition. Rock on, fellow New Englander! read more

So I went in today for a check up remind you I rushed here plus was on public transportation I was only 3 min late after their grace period which is u have to be 10 min late I was refused to be seen one of he guy nurse that was in the front argued with me and wasn't even trying to compromise with me another nurse came and was willing to give me other info to other clinics but my whole point is they don't tell you this over the phone or over the internet about their grace period I think that is so fucking rude some of these mf people don't care aslong as they have a job they don't give a fuck about u I bet you I won't be coming bk to this mf anymore plus I hear they sell fetus tissue after people have abortions read more

This is the best most through Planned Parenthood ever, great same day appointments clean all of the staff are pleasant and accommodating even when people are rude to them. I had a terrible experience here yesterday. I was scheduled for 5:15pm just to refill my birth control pills. I checked in at 4:56pm. I didnt get called in until 6:20pm! Even people who came way after me got called in before me! Once I get called they do the usual and check my vitals and ask if all my information and medical history is the same, which it is. Then I'm told it will take another 30-40 minutes just to get my pills! At this point it's already 7:15pm! The placed closed at 7pm. The doctor comes in and asks me the same damn questions then leaves and says she has to go get my pills. By the time I get my pills it's already 8pm! I spent three hours just for birth control pills that they could have just easily grabbed and given to me! I was the last patient to leave. The lights even turned off and the gates were locked! This is so unprofessional. There excuse was they only had one doctor. Then don't have so many patients at the same time or get another doctor! I will never ever come back here again and I will not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Best planned parenthood I have ever been to. They are very professional , kind , understanding and they never make me feel uncomfortable . I come from a whole different city just to be seen here. They get me in and out while still handling all my needs. They answer all my questions and have informed me on things I didn't even know. The place is very private , even while sitting in the waiting room. It's also extremely clean and the interior design is awesome to be placed in Oakland. I went to the planned parenthood i always go to in west oakland on 7th street for a walk in and they were packed. I asked if there was another location i could go to with out an appointment and they gave me the address to a new location and it was near my house. I wasn't sure where it was or how it would be. When i arrived i was shocked how close it was to my home and how it was so clean and nice. There wasn't anyone there and I didn't have to wait, they got me right in. The nurse and the doctor were very nice and answered all my questions. I felt comfortable talking to them. I honestly felt really comfortable in this location and will definitely be coming back. I recommend this location of planned parenthood to those that go to any other one because of how nice the nurses and doctors are and because how clean it is. read more

Yesterday I made my first visit yo this office and I have to say the service was exceptional. I was in and out in no time and they actually took the time out to help me after my visit to try and get a few things resolved. I'm excited that they've finally opened a location close to my home.
