I cannot believe I have forgotten to review this wonderful restaurant. I came here already over thirty years ago (pfff, no, don't do the math), back when it was only a type of glorified café/restaurant, and our dogs were welcome and would lay under the table while we were enjoying game that was hunted locally (sometimes by my then husband), and delivered from the local butcher shop.
They were always respected for their authentic way of cooking foods, prepared with diligence and French finesse. I have not had a bad meal in all the years we have eaten there. They always make you feel special and have a lovely selection of wines and cocktails.
This last time we sat next to the window to the kitchen: really fun as an aspiring cook to see how they run it. Plates were lined up and partially prepped.
