His bionico was a combination of sliced strawberries, sliced apples, sliced cantaloupe, shaved coconut, yogurt and pecans all mixed together in a clear plastic togo container. I've never had one. He said it was slightly sweet, but not as good as bionicos that he's had in Southern California. I tried something different that I've never tried before - a chamoyada. This was a mix of diced mango, guava sherbet, Chamoy (which tasted sweet, salty and slightly spicy) and some red powder that served as a topping of some sort all served in a clear plastic cup. Even though I thought the ingredients would possibly not go together, somehow they actually tasted good. Oh, and there was a plastic straw that had dried tamarind wrapped around it. I had to pick up the straw and gnaw on it to eat the tamarind. The tamarind had sweet, salty and spicy flavors. I liked the guava sherbet the most because of its flavor. The flavor reminded me of the guavas that I used to eat fresh off the tree when I was much younger and growing up in Southern California. There are so many other types of sweet treats here. I tend to like the ones with slices of fruit in them. Paleteria Y Neveria La Michoacana is located in a busy strip mall. The free parking lot in front is on the small side, considering that there are a lot of small businesses in this shopping complex. I know that there is a small parking lot to the side of the Cuban sandwich shop if you can't find parking in the front lot. Employees all wore face masks and gloves. There were two other customers in the store when we were there, and we were able to social distance from them.
