My little sister bought her rabbit some hay because he was running low on food, normally she goes to another store and she's never been here before but it was a last minute resort. They sold her the hay in an unmarked bag which was weird, hay should be sold in a sealed container or plastic wrapped with an actual brand on it. It should look like it was packaged in a warehouse, not gathered as scraps from leftover beddings and then hand sealed. I believe that what she was sold was left over bedding from some other animal so this business could save some money. Unfortunately, her bunny started popping all mushy and weird then refused to eat. She made an appointment to the nearest vet that serviced bunnies but she woke up this morning with her bunny dead under her bed. I'll be contacting the better business bureau and the business itself when they open up. This was completely irresponsible on their part to have sold a product like that to her. It cost her the life of her bunny. She was caring and loving to her bunny, it wasn't just some animal to her. Shop owners who are this careless shouldn't own a business that tend to live animals. read more

This planet pet shop isn't any good. We took our puppy to get their shots and they told us one shot was left. They were incompetent on telling us when the shots were when they're supposed to write them down and since our dog unfortunately did not have all the shots needed she got sick and passed. Please do not bring your dogs to this place. I wish I would've read the reviews prior to patronizing this business and putting my puppy in harms way. I dropped him off on 1.10.21 when I left him he was happy and healthy. I left him there for grooming and when I picked him up he appeared to be sad and his eyes were bloodshot red. As the day went on he began to consistently blink and appeared to be uncomfortable. At one point he was unable to open his right eye. I called the owner who is also the groomer and she explained that the irritation was more likely caused by a hair in the eye. She asked me to bring him back and offered to put ointment. When I arrived she grabbed my poor puppy and put some random ointment. She even gave me some to take home. I was shocked to see that the tube and ointment was some random product from Mexico that was not even for dogs! They also left a bald spot in back of my dogs head! Worst grooming ever! I can only imagine what my dog went through. They don't handle the dogs with care. They have crates with newspaper they are dog abusers and don't know what they're doing! Please take your dogs somewhere else this place abuses pets! I will never return to this business! I am taking my puppy to the vet bcuz of their careless and abusive behavior. read more

I strictly told the owner that i only wanted her to trim my dogs face and give him a bath but instead she cut all of his hair. And not to mention my dog came home very depressed. I live all the way in Irvine, but I make the special drive here because I know that my babies are going to get taken care of gently & lovingly. They always come out of the shop looking like a million bucks, & you can really tell that they put a lot of love into grooming my dogs. I've been coming here for years because I am very particular who I take my 3 fur babies to. I want my Pomeranians to have their cuts a very specific way, & they never fail to deliver. The Owner, Rosa, is so sweet and consistently gives me good advice on how to feed & take care of my dogs. She makes me feel very welcome and she always goes that extra mile for me. The inventory here is great too. The prices here are better than most. I'd recommend this place to EVERYONE. I definitely don't drive out here for just any ol' Pet Shop. BTW, they have additional parking in the back. I also wanted to add that they have a great inventory of turtles, birds, snakes, & other creatures- along with a great amount of food supply, etc. They also speak Spanish & are very caring about their customer's needs, from what I've, personally, witnessed. read more

They are very experienced groomer and they would never let a dog go like that! F.Y.I they only charge $8 for the nail clipping. For Grooming The owner charges between 40 and 55 bucks depends if your dog has knots and size. It includes bath, conditioner, haircut, cleaned ears, brush teeth and clip nails. And they only put two dogs in a kennel if they came together, C'mon man commen sense! Also Her son is Honest and knowledgeable just an awesome down to earth gentleman. He is very respectful toward customers, see for yourself. They are literally next to Petco And they do really good because of its low prices. Petco have triple there prices. Don't believe me check out there Flea product like flea collars and shampoo and you will see the outrageous prices they have at Petco. If you want grooming I recommend that you get there early at 10 am because the place gets very packed from customers wanting grooming. Customers make line at 9:30 am to get there dogs in! By 10:30 they stop taking dogs in. They can only take in so many! I think like 15 dogs at the most. One more thing they only do Grooming Friday,Saturday, and Sunday. F.Y.I Planet Pet shop has High end dog food Like Victor, Nutri Source, Propac , Taste of the wild! They have a program when you buy 12 bags of dog food they give you one FREE! "Can't beat that!!! If you are looking for a place of quality service for your pets this is not the place. The store owner and one of her employees took my dog in to get her nails cut in a shady little room they have in the back where they closed the door shut; They were in there for about 20-25 mins what seemed like forever. All i could hear is rattling of some sort of equipment. Once they were out the owner holding my dog said this was as short as i could go since she was moving too much. I get a closer look at her paws and about 3 of her nails are bleeding! I tell her "why are her nails bleeding ?!" and she said "she was moving and I couldn't do it right". I told her " if you could not do your job right because she is moving why continue? Why do a shitty painful job just bring my dog out!!" She said " I did you a favor! " A favor?! " A favor to have my dog be in pain because you are unprofessional and obviously should not have any grooming services preformed here & hurting my dog while bringing her to get her nails cut is doing me a favor?! I have taken my dogs to multiple grooming pet establishments, veterinarians to get their nails cut and my dogs have never bled because they are moving. But you continue to cut every single one of her nails making her bleed so much that her blood gets on my shirt and on my car seats and make her whimper of the pain she is in because she was moving and that made you not capable of doing your job right but you continue?? And not bring my dog out when she bled on her first nail? Ridiculous. Last time i heard this establishment closed for shady business. Should of known better and taken her elsewhere. She could have been professional and apologized but i did not even get that she got defensive and said that she did me a favor. If you are looking for any kind of service for your dogs as far as grooming nail cutting and anything between those lines save yourself the pain your dogs will have from a unprofessional "groomer" and shitty customer service. read more
