Bruhhhhh clean this place. The standing water alone is gross enough but the Qtips and everything else. I'm calling corporate this time and they better offer me an inspection job.

Not bad for the price Pretty clean gym. A lot cleaner than my 24hour days lol, like no puddles of sweat on gym material. It can get really busy from 3pm-6pm weekdays. Closer gym to the house saves money 8)

My local gym, been going here since high school, probably has that ugly teen pic of me loll. Nice environment and friendly staff up front.

Worst planet fitness. Terrible overly involved management and an outlier for the chain. Would use any other facility before this one.

Ask the Community - Planet Fitness

Is there an air conditioner here? Is there only a fan?

There is air conditioning inside the gym.

Besides the $39 annual fee, are there any other fees that are not published?

So far with me and I've been with them on and off for years. Yeah that should be the only additional fee unless I missed something they charged and didn't notice it.

Are there showers?

There are showers inside the restrooms. Does not provide towels, soaps, or shampoo.

Is there a sauna at this facility?

No there isn't.

The…read moregym is consistently clean, the equipment is in good condition, and there's enough variety to keep my workouts interesting. The staff are approachable and always greet members with a positive attitude, which makes the gym feel welcoming. I also like that the environment is motivating without feeling intimidating, whether you're just starting out or have been working out for years. What keeps me coming back is how easy it is to get a solid workout in without any hassle. Overall, I've had a great experience here and would recommend Curl Fitness Westminster to anyone looking for a well-maintained gym with a friendly atmosphere.

UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: Fair is fair, and when a…read morebusiness makes an effort to correct a problem, I believe that deserves to be acknowledged too. After my original review, Curl Fitness management, Eric Doan contacted me and invited me to come in and talk about what had happened. We had a good conversation, and most importantly, they came up with a solution that allows me to keep my membership without having my personal checking account used for automatic withdrawals. We agreed that I can place a prepaid Visa card on file instead. That addresses the issue that caused all of this in the first place and allows me to continue going to a gym that, aside from this billing problem, I have enjoyed being a member of. I appreciate management taking my complaint seriously, speaking with me face-to-face, and working toward a solution rather than simply accepting the cancellation. My original review reflected my experience at the time, so I'm not going to pretend the frustration didn't happen. But this update reflects my experience now: management listened, worked with me, and found a reasonable solution. That's good customer service, and they deserve credit for making it right. Looks like Curl Fitness and I aren't breaking up after all. Original review: Want to hear an interesting business model? Customer pays membership every month. Customer asks gym to stop automatically debiting her checking account. Customer continues coming into the gym and PAYING HER MEMBERSHIP IN PERSON. Gym keeps trying to debit the bank account anyway. Customer gets hit with insufficient-funds fees. Customer repeatedly asks gym to stop. Gym says, "We need manager authorization." Problem continues. And then comes the grand solution: "If you don't want a checking account attached to your membership, you'll have to cancel your membership." Excuse me? I had been a member for approximately a year and a half. My dues were paid. I wasn't asking for free membership. I wasn't refusing to pay. I simply did not want Curl Fitness automatically withdrawing money from my checking account anymore. Apparently that request was so impossible to accommodate that I had to CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP just to stop the attempted withdrawals. So congratulations, Curl Fitness. You lost a loyal, paying customer who actually wanted to remain a member because your billing policy apparently mattered more than keeping a customer who paid her dues every month. The gym itself wasn't the reason I left. The billing practices were. 1/5 -- and that's only because zero isn't an option.

There's two restrooms in the back as well as cubbies you can leave your stuff. Most classes I've been to were booty day so it was all of lower body and glutes. For one of the classes, each workout is sectioned out by two sets of 45 seconds with a 15 second break in between each set. Another one was 3 minutes to get through 8 workouts ranging from RDL's, hip thrusts, lunges, Bulgarian squats with 10-30 sets each. There's a ton of equipment spread throughout and when you're done with a set, you'll move forward to the other workouts. I was sweaaaating!! I joined in for their other classes too and each day is a different format. Which is nice since you get to switch it up. Downside would be ... there's a bad mosquito problem here. Almost every time I've been here I've gotten mosquito bites and I always see them flying around. They even fly around the front desk. It sucks but wear some bug spray if you're coming here. Pepe walked around to correct forms during the workouts. This gym definitely got me feeling sore. They have a 21 day promo for $21.

I love the group HIIT workouts facilitated by our awesome trainers Pepe, Alan, and Omar! It's nice to decompress after a long day and not think about what workouts to do since they have it all laid out for us in the breakdown from the beginning! My hubby and I go together so it's like our version of a date night 3x/week. I worked out until I was about 8 months pregnant and just recently came back to work out with our baby and it has been so energizing! But my favorite aspect is the recovery rooms they have red light therapy and also compression boots which is really nice the recovery room tends to be pretty open and not so crowded on the weekends. What made the experience even more frustrating was that the policy they referenced didn't seem to be clearly communicated or consistently enforced. Instead of being treated like a long-time member, I felt singled out and accused of doing something wrong before I had even entered the gym floor. I've always enjoyed coming to Chuze Fitness because of the welcoming atmosphere, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope management addresses how situations like this are handled and ensures employees communicate with members in a respectful, professional manner instead of making them feel targeted. After 13 years of being a loyal member, I expected much better.

"It never gets easier -- you just get stronger."…read more I love how this adage can apply to not only lagree but life in general. With that said, I came across Stronger on a Yelp search late one night as I was suffering from insomnia and thinking about going from zero (i.e., couch potato) to... a number greater than zero. I had heard about lagree from a friend a while ago, and she seemed to really enjoy it, so I thought it'd be worth checking out. The intro deal (2 classes within a week for $20) was reasonable, so I scheduled my first class ASAP. As someone who is relatively shy, especially in gym-related environments, I showed up to class feeling incredibly nervous. Fortunately, the instructor (Jamie) was super sweet and welcoming, and she made me feel at ease. When class started, we warmed up with a plank, and I fully appreciated how physically unfit I was, as I started to immediately sweat, breathe heavily, and tremble. While transitioning into other moves, I struggled so hard, but Jamie was always patient and encouraging. She'd often say words of affirmation in a truly genuine way about how we're strong and able to get through each exercise ("Yes, you can!"). At one point, she also said, "You're allowed to take up space," which is such an important and powerful reminder, no matter the context. I especially appreciated how she had no problem being hands-on when correcting my form even though I was a sweaty mess (and she did this for everyone, too). At other fitness studios, the instructors are a bit squeamish about touching people to correct them (and I don't blame them), but that's not the case at Stronger. Class was over before I knew it, and I was absolutely exhausted and dripping in sweat (at one point, it probably looked like I was crying from all the sweat pouring from my forehead like that Jordan Peele GIF). I remember feeling a bit disappointed in myself for not being able to properly keep up and straight-up pausing sometimes to catch my breath. But Jamie and the other members were very kind and reassured me that I did a great job, especially as a first-timer. At my second class (also with Jamie), I struggled again and was overly apologetic, but Jamie was supportive and gracious, saying, "As women, we apologize a lot for every little thing, but we don't have to do that." She also reminded me to breathe throughout class, which clued me into my bad habit of holding my breath when I'm doing something challenging. That gentle nudge helped me stay more present in my body, and I started noticing how often I tense up without realizing it. And I've also taken a class with Maggie, who's so knowledgeable and upbeat. She somehow makes even the toughest moves feel fun. At Stronger, there are people of all ages and fitness levels just doing their thing, and that makes it way less intimidating. Some folks are lifting heavy, others are modifying moves, and it's all good. Bottom line: Stronger and its community definitely live up to the name!
