There are enough machines that even when it's busy I am still able to complete my workout without issue. I've been doing training with my personal trainer, Evelin, for the entire time I've been a member. She's very kind and encouraging and has taught me so much about working out. While I've struggled with my weight (eating) she has been supportive and always gives me help with nutrition. She's a big reason why I am so loyal to Curl Fitness Westminster. Other staff I want to shout out include the manager Eric, who has helped me with account/payment matters multiple times and is always very helpful and friendly. Gama is approachable and always has a welcoming smile on his face. Johnny is very knowledgeable about weight loss and nutrition. Finally, Steven does an excellent job at maintaining a clean facility. Honestly all their staff is great! As far as the clientele who come, I never have any issues with people being rude or not sharing equipment or making a mess. Everyone who works out here seems to be chill and they respect others (not true for many gyms!). Chuze Cypress said "you may stop looking" and I said okuuuuuurt. This gym is not just clean, it is IMMACULATE. The kind of clean that makes you want to wear your cutest workout fit just to match the energy. And the STAFF? They greet you like you're a regular at your favorite brunch spot. Every. Single. Time. No attitude, no ignoring you while scrolling on their phone...just genuine "welcome, we see you, we're happy you're here" energy. It's giving hospitality. It's giving excellence. It's giving "this is how customer service should ALWAYS be." I genuinely look forward to training here, which is a WHOLE testimony because I do not hype gyms up for fun. Now let's talk about the recovery room because I need everyone to understand: this is not a perk, this is a LIFESTYLE. The air chairs? Sat down and ascended. The compression boots? I have had full-on spiritual experiences in those boots. The sauna? I walk in stressed, I walk out reborn. Yes it has new equipment but it feels run down for 2 big reasons…read more 1.) for the last year I have been paying extra for the add on of the recovery room, in which Chuze shows commercials all the time advertising HYDRO THERAPY. These machines are great, very popular and everyone who pays extra wants this item and this item only. Nothing else..... nobody wants to wrap their legs in gigantic compression boots.... But yet they have 4 of these machines. They never break because nobody uses them. Everyone pays for the hydro therapy but yet they only have 2 of them and 1 is always broken.... The reason, is because this is all people want out of the recovery room. But yet 1 of the Hydro machines is always broken, never fixed . instead of using membership fees to buy a new one they rely on a repair man who never shows up, and when he does, only has it fixed for a day. What's the point of having a recovery studio if the only thing people want, (HYDRO THERAPY) is never available? 2.) everyone likes to use the stair masters. It's popular now, nobody really uses elliptical's, except older people who can't be hard on their bodies. So what does Chuze do???? They have 17 ellipticals which only ever 3 are being used and 6 stair masters of which one is always broken and all 5 are always in use. A manager with his finger on the pulse of his building should see this, and rotate out unused equipment and replacing it with what's needed more of,..... like the stair masters there's always a wait for.... For months now. This should be the nicest gym out there.... That's why I joined. They are busy with members.... where is all the money going?

But last Friday, after they closed for 3 days and reopened, I walked in and was like, "wait... this feels different." The space is way more open now, better organized, and it doesn't feel cramped like before. They added quite a few new machines, especially in the free weight area, which looks much better now. Even though there's usually only one of each machine so you might still have to wait during peak hours, it's still a nice upgrade. They also added better ab machines, which honestly helps lazy people like me actually do some ab workouts. Overall, I was genuinely surprised in a good way. The workout feels better, the space feels nicer, and I'm really happy with the changes. Definitely sticking around for the long run. I just hope that in the future they can extend their weekend hours a bit later, especially on Saturdays and Sundays.

In terms of capacity, it's a good sized gym with working machines and a big yoga room and functional workout area. They have 6 punching bags that are always in working function, which I absolutely love as a boxer. The manager, Tracey, is amazing. I've had odd encounters with some people here and he resolved the issue immediately. The place is clean. But when the cleaning lady, Lady, is around, the place becomes spotless. She's super friendly and accommodating. All the staff at the front desk are nice and the trainers here are great at their jobs. They have a ton of classes here and the HIIT classes gets packed. It's a great facility with tons of friendly people and I would highly recommend this Crunch location.

Showers are missing doors, soap, soap dispensers, broken and missing shower heads, hair and trash on shower walls and floors, etc. I have attached photos and a video. The video shows a shower heads broke and fell on me during the middle of my shower. I couldn't put it back on - no matter how much I pushed, turned, etc. it. And the water pressure was extra hard and it hurt.

Instead of being treated like a long-time member, I felt singled out and accused of doing something wrong before I had even entered the gym floor. I've always enjoyed coming to Chuze Fitness because of the welcoming atmosphere, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope management addresses how situations like this are handled and ensures employees communicate with members in a respectful, professional manner instead of making them feel targeted.
