A Monday morning workout and shower. After a hot day of driving from Palm Beach to Sebring and sleeping in a warm RV, it was a nice opportunity to stop here at PF. I have their Black Card membership so I can visit any PF worldwide. Fabulous! The place was almost completely empty at 6am when I was here and didn't fill up much more by the time I left. Maybe some of that is due to the season when the snowbirds have all gone back up north? An easy run through the Thirty Minute Circuit where I was alone and undisturbed followed by a good shower with enough hot water. A positive experience all around. Do not frequent this business, they are deceitful and will not work with you when there is a dispute. I signed up my wife and son expecting to be able to bring my younger son on as a guest. I explained this to the desk staff and was not told anything about there being a age limit and my 11 year old would not be allowed in. After they got our money/membership we were told that our son could not come in. My sons membership was never used as it was the same day and the business was completely unwilling to work with us. Refusing to issue a refund for the unused membership. Completely horrible business practices do not give these people a dime you will regret it. read more

Some staff are rude like the "trainer". You can't talk on your cell phone in the gym but everyone else who goes with someone or meets friends there can talk all they want to each other. They can be loud and bang weights and some even talk on their phones. Makes no sense that everyone can talk and socialize but if you go alone, you can't answer your phone except in the lobby. I was just standing there away from the equipment talking on my phone normally and the "trainer" asked me to go to the lobby. He sits there talking all he wants though to another person but my gay voice wasn't ok. Makes no sense yet guys can go in the women's locker room. SERIOUSLY? They also have way too much ellipticals that go unused and not enough of other equipment. There is also a strong toxic smell of plastic which is poisonous. read more

I went there today with my niece to start working on saving her life because she is seriously obese for a girl her age. As we came in, the personnel that were behind the desk just stared at us and didn't even say hi. I told my neice to scan in and she says, I can't. Noone told me that she did not have a membership at this gym. At this point the girl behind the desk, Miranda, is looking at me with the stupidest look in her face. She says nothing to remedy the situation, but from my past experience there, I knew that my neice qualified for a free day pass, because she'd later become a new member. Miranda instead tells me that for the free day pass it would be $10. But how can that be Miranda, when I paid $0 my first time here? Miranda immediately became defensive and combative and told me that since I said day pass she assumed it was the $10 one. I asked her, what do you call the free pass? She said day pass...lol. Miranda's customer service was a disgrace. I believe she treated us this way because we are latin. I will let everyone know the type of people that planet fitness has assisting the latin community. Miranda tried to get $10 from us when she knew she could have let her in for free for just today. Then she went on and on because I said I didn't remember what fkn pass name it was. Like it was up to me to get her to do her job. It goes without saying, she forced my niece's mom to come all the way to the gym from Avon Park, so that my neice can commence her life saving journey. Miranda showed no consideration or courtesy. She was dry as ice. Miranda made me feel like she was trying to take advantage of us. Corporate will surely be hearing about this, and to my latin community, please do not accept any form of subtle discrimination, especially from basic little girls. read more

The front desk is always so kind and friendly! I've went to this gym for two weeks straight before moving states and I loved it!

Just an update to my last post. As of now, the club IS 24/7 Tuesday-Thursday. Glad that the club has expanded hours.

I've always been a huge planet fitness fan, I probably shout out PF on social media once a week. I've never had any problems until now. This entire gym is surrounded by windows that connect to the mall. Random men walking around the mall stare into the windows and harass the women working out. I've had an old man press his face to the glass and watch me do squats and today I had a guy stare at me, stick his tongue out, and make perverted gestures with his tongue. I've reported both incidents to the front desk and made a suggestion of tinting the windows. They looked at me like I had 3 heads and barely said a word back. They did not empathize with me whatsoever and I was already really upset and shaken up by it. They made me feel as though I was wrong for saying something. I thought planet fitness emphasized making people feel comfortable. The staff needs much more training read more

The bathrooms are always disgusting including the showers. In the gym itself the floor is horrific grime and dirt build up where the yoga mats are located. Needs better employees who actually care about where they work. read more

Has everything you would expect in most locations. 2/22/20 Avoid during promotion days. Place lacks large wall clocks where one can time break intervals between sets or simply know the time. Need a paper towel dispenser(s) close to the garbage with the 2 spray bottles towards the back; it seems to drive people insane to not have paper towels available nearby. 7/15 Some employees are now taking it upon themselves to promote their political and activist points of views. Said employees also play their own buzzkill ballad music quite loudly. Shower stalls are not cleaned often; there was a disposable razor abandoned in one of the stalls for an entire week until I reached in and disposed of it myself. Also saw a back scrubber on the floor in another stall for another full week until someone took care of it. Same with dirt on the inside of the shower curtains; those stalls should be disinfected/cleaned at least daily read more
