Service is not the best, equipment is not being replaced as often as it should, they wait till things are falling apart and even then it seems to take forever. They advertise $10 or $15 a month, but add two fees the first year, and a $50 annual fee each year thereafter. It's an adequate gym, though they let the equipment get pretty ratty before it's replaced. My issue is the sleazy way EPIC Fitness Group (CEO Brian Rief), the franchise owner did us during an extended shutdown for remodel, in which they offered no refunds, just as they collected annual fees that make it harder to quit the gym without losing money, and told people to visit another Planet Fitness in the interim--a bs move, because you join a local gym because it's local; and the nearest PF from Adrian MI is in Saline, a 33-minute drive ONE WAY. EPIC/Rief are not ethical, and they leave their underpaid staff to take all the $#!+ when they pull a stunt like this. They should have given every local member a pro rata refund for the down-days and that fraction of the local fees. Around ten bucks a member . . . but nooo--Rief & Co, rich folks who own most of the PFs throughout SE Michigan owner need that money more than you do. read more

I recommend this Planet Fitness with reservation because it's about the only fitness center option in the Adrian, Michigan area, but this location is far below the standards of any other Planet Fitness I've ever been to. The staff is fine and the facility is well-equipped with a spacious floor plan. However, maintenance in this facility is the worst I've seen of any gym I've ever been in. The vinyl covering on equipment and several of the workout benches are in ridiculous condition as noted in the photos. Who would want to sit or lie down on a bench in this condition and how are you supposed to sanitize a bench after using when the vinyl is worn off down to the cloth backing? And repair of sinks and urinals in the men's bathroom always seems to take weeks. Attached is a photo of the only two urinals in the men's bathroom that have been out of commission for three weeks, forcing members to wait on one of the two stalls to open up. Crazy. If you need to work out, this place has the equipment and a decent staff, but don't expect it to be on a caliber with any other Planet Fitness location you may have visited. read more

This Planet Fitness has all the equipment and everything is in great shape. The staff here is not that friendly or welcoming though. I don't need someone to chat me up but a friendly greeting and a goodbye goes a long way. The gym is clean and there are plenty of machines so getting a good work out is not a problem here. If they hired friendlier staff this place would rock. read more

The manager cost you a long time member today. After disputing charges from 2016 that just suddenly appeared on my account today I was called a liar by your manager. He agreed to remove the charges but said he didn't believe me. I am furious to have my integrity challenged by some 20 something because of an error an obviously poorly trained employee made years ago. read more

Today I notice they took out the annual fee I never received an email or any warning they would be taking out $40.00. I haven't received an email From PF since June 25th. I go into Planet fitness asked for the manager as I was talking he kept looking at his watch and he told me he was off the clock. I would not recommend Planet fitness they just take fees out without warning. read more

Would not work with us on auto renewal fee. My daughter had not gone to Planet Fitness for months because of Plantar Warts. We decided to cancel but they renewed on anniversary date, which is their right. HOWEVER, when we asked for grace because she will not be able to go. We were told, sorry it's in the contract. I understand this in the strictest sense, but their business does not allow for grace or understanding of individual circumstances which is the hallmark of good, fair, and reasonable businesses. read more

This place is ridiculous. I was doing stiff leg dead lifts using 30 pounds, yes, 30 pounds... and got yelled at for "power lifting".

Wonderful location, top notch staff ready and willing to go out of their way to assist you. If you are not trying to cause problems they will never bother you. Honest truth is anyone who has something bad to say about a 10 dollar a month gym didn't have their payments on time or forgot to update information for billing. I've never heard the lunk alarm, and people are talked to causally not in front of a group of something needs addressed. High quality people, equipment and attitudes. read more

I love this gym. The equipment is always clean and there is so much of it that even when it is busy, I can still get a great workout in. The locker room is always clean and very spacious. I definitely feel comfortable in this gym. Plus, you can not beat their price! read more

the Adrian location has become kinda like a second "home" for me. I have gotten to know the staff and people that come to the facility. I have been to two locations so far and I would say by far, Adrian is my favorite location to visit. read more
