Was introduced to this school from my daughters friends mom and let me tell you - truly a hidden gem. They teach your kid all the arts; hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, acrobatics, theatre! I mean for the price you are getting a steal! The show is truly the greatest show! I was so impressed! My daughter has my clumsiness so to see her go from no coordination to killing it with confidence at a dance performance almost bought me to tears! They train them to be stars and that's what you'll get with joining AREA. They also have adult courses or rental space so that's always a plus! They are on peachtree - very convenient location! If you're out of town or your child is ill you can take them to a different time slot which is super convenient and makes monthly membership completely worth it. We had quite the wait after we got seated around 7pm. However, it was between 8 and 9pm till we got served. Not sure what was going on I the kitchen.. But, the guests were starving that day! Luckily, I had a late snack before heading out to the wedding. I particularly liked the room with the baby grand piano with walls filled with Asian paintings. It was pleasant listening to someone who was decent at carrying a few tunes on the piano. Buy the deal packages if anything. Yes it's convenient but now that I'm at a different studio, I know the drive is worth it. Inconsistent quality of instruction, shoddy equipment that has caused injuries, shady downtime and schedules where you lose at least a month of membership throughout the course of a year (summer maintenance shutdown, series cancellations with no level equal backfill classes, etc) and deeply disappointing and disrespectful leadership who focuses on income sprints vs loyal membership and good communication. A business coach should know the cost of client acquisition is at least 6x higher than the cost of retention; teaching hundreds of thousands of students isn't a flex in boutique fitness unless you have a large, multi-location business. I've heard other horror stories I won't express here. As a client, you won't initially feel it, but as you go on you'll notice that you're treated as ignorant and as if you don't understand business and what clients want.
