Fantastic sandwiches and salads! The sweet, kind ladies running the shop accommodated my children's very particular demands as well. They even ran across the place to get us glasses of wine to enjoy with our meal. We frequent this place during our stay in Bordeaux. It is a fantastic value for the quality of the meal. I had a wonderful experience at Plan B during an afternoon stroll through the city. We were mid self-guided walking tour when we decided we were hungry and it was time for lunch. It was almost 2:30-3pm when we decided to give Plan B a try because of their prices and handful of reviews on Yelp. The inside of the sandwich shop was very rustic with a nice eclectic feel. All the tables were full but we were able to snag a table that came open soon after arriving. A friendly waiter came over to take our order. The menu was not extensive. There were about a dozen sandwiches to choose from and the option to get the handheld in a combo (+drink or drink+dessert). The better deal was to go with a combo so we did. After waiting a couple of minutes our sandwiches were brought out and they were delicious. Very simple yet made with quality fresh ingredients to give you a healthy lunch. I had Le Mama without tomatoes and I really enjoyed it. For dessert we opted to try a chocolate brownie to cleanse the palate. I think what added to this experience was the ambiance and gorgeous day outside. Being able to say we were enjoying a sandwich in the cafes of Bordeaux is pretty fantastic, no?
