This rule is overly strict and targets students trying to study or concentrate. Librarians should focus on maintaining the facility and supporting patrons, not nitpicking harmless behavior. A library should be a welcoming space for learning, not a place where students are harassed for quietly minding their own business.

Unlike some libraries, the set up is ideal, so there are quiet spots away from the children's areas and public computers. I'm there a lot writing, and am rarely disturbed by other patrons in the little back area with the study tables. The nonfiction book selection is good; they even have a technical manual that I thought would be hard to find. As a mom, I've also been very pleased with the programming for youngsters! Between 6 and 18 months, it's hard to find activities that are age appropriate, but they have great story time for the little guys! I love the cafe on site. It's rarely too crowded, everyone is friendly, and the coffee is pretty good. My only caveat for this library system is a poor e-book database. However, I'm assuming there's not much of a market for the e-books in the area, but hopefully that will grow as more people adopt the media.

Lots of book options and of course the staff can help you can more books from the other branches too. They also have a video game, board game and movie section. The staff is really sweet and helpful too! I think it'd be nice if there was another row of board books for baby/toddlers but there's a lot of options for slightly older kids.
