Between excellent service, from the host to the kitchen staff, and being a bright, cheery place decorated in a modern farmhouse feel (only complaint is the HARD seating), we love this place. The food is always delicious and seasoned perfectly with FLAVOR. For the appetizer, the Salad Pizza is absolutely scrumptious and was recommended by our server our first visit here last year. Honestly, it keeps bringing us back. The flavors are incredible. It has feta, mozzarella, topped with organic greens, shaved onions, tossed in a lemon/dijon dressing with shaved parmesan. It's a flavor bomb in the mouth. The meatloaf, is to die for. If you're a meatloaf eater this is for you. It's so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Melts in your mouth and the sauce on top is the perfect blend of sweet and savory to top it off. For my two sides this time I chose the fried brussels sprouts and the greens. The greens are always seasoned perfectly and the brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. They tasted even better dipped in my meatloaf sauce so that was a win-win. My boyfriend had the special which was short ribs. For his two sides, he had greens and green beans. The short rib was perfectly tender and absolutely delicious full of flavor and moist for him. The green beans and the greens were also perfect as well full of flavor, just enough fat and butter. It's a great little date spot or a family dinner. They also have outdoor seating covered with umbrellas. There's a bar inside with a TV if you choose to go watch sports and the food here is always on point full of flavor and makes you want to come back and try more things on the menu. Everything was delicious, although my partner wasn't a huge fan of the short ribs. The trout and salad were both excellent. The cheese dip was delicious. The sides were a standout, especially the Parmesan spaghetti squash, which I highly recommend. We had to put some extra salt on the sides, but that's purely personal preference. They also had several reasonably priced drink specials, which was a nice surprise. The service was amazing--friendly, attentive, and a big part of what made the meal so enjoyable. Overall, a really solid dining experience, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

I got the sliced beef sandwich combo with slaw, okra, and sweet tea. My mom just wanted peach cobbler and okra, and we added potato salad and banana pudding for ourselves. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The pulled pork was tender and not dry. My sliced beef was juicy and seasoned well. The hushpuppies were good, crispy outside, soft inside. The fried okra was cooked right and not greasy. The potato salad surprised me in a good way, it had slices of bacon in it, which was different but actually really good. The banana pudding was good and creamy, and the peach cobbler was good too. Portions are generous. It's a lot of food for the price and definitely worth it. Service was good,we were in and out. No long wait. The ambience was good too. Nice spot, plenty of parking, easy to pull in and grab the food. No complaints at all when it comes to the service or the atmosphere. Overall, solid food, good service, good atmosphere. We'd definitely go back.

However, if you want an enjoyable experience, you should look elsewhere. I think our main concern is poor communication - starting with not including my fiancée on all the emails. I mean, my fiancée is doing all the communicating and coordinating. Plus, she paid for the tasting with money coming out of her checking account. Then, why am I the only one they email? Why do I have to forward my fiancée her receipt for the meals that she paid for? I wish their sales coordinator would click Reply All to include both the bride and the groom on email threads. Another communication faux pas - it's a seemingly little thing - they keep spelling my name wrong. I wouldn't bring this up except for the fact that my email address is my name. It's an open book test. And if they miss that level of detail, I worry about what else they're missing. Anyway, after much correspondence and forwarding multiple emails, we finally made it to the tasting. The tasting was delicious! However, our concerns about their poor communication remain. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how good your chef is if your sales coordinator is chasing people away.

It is a bunch of big kitchen areas and workspace in a facility equipped to handle any major catering event easily and completely. We attended their celebration of 10 yrs in this larger facility. Then we all filed in the front door to see an amazing and creative array of fun activities and food galore. The place is big enough that no one was crowded in at the food stations. In fact it was easy to lose your bearings when walking around. If you're looking for a solid caterer in the Piedmont Triad region, I recommend Pepper Moon. Pepper Moon catered heavy hors d'oeuvres at the event. It was a simple setup: one long self-serve buffet of small bites. No passed trays, action stations, or anything like that. For us, it got the job done. From what I recall, we had teriyaki chicken skewers with sweet chili sauce, meatballs with marinara, biscuits (I think they were cheddar biscuits), black bean cakes with a yogurt sauce; a cubed cheese display with cheddar, Swiss, and pepper jack cheeses, grapes, berries, and assorted crackers; and a fresh fruit display with cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, grapes, and berries. There may have been a dessert/sweet as well, but I don't remember. We had a special reunion cake, but I'm not sure if it was provided by Pepper Moon. Just under 100 guests were expected, but only about half that showed up, so we had a lot of leftovers. There were boxes for us to take leftovers home. In general, the menu served was safe with several crowd-pleasers. My wife really enjoyed the food and went back for seconds. Her favorites were the meatballs (soft and moist) and black bean cakes. My go-to was the teriyaki chicken skewers. The chicken was tender and appetizing and I've been a fan of that sweet Thai chili sauce for chicken since I was little. There was a cash bar for drinks. I'm not sure if that was Pepper Moon, Congdon Yards, or another vendor. The Pepper Moon staff were formally dressed (the event was dressy casual), polite, and attentive. One of the employees was very nice to me and really made sure I was taken care of as I made my way down the buffet line the first time. I think they were expecting more guests, so they may have been a bit overstaffed. Whatever the case, they did a good job. Pepper Moon's offices and facilities building is located just south of the airport on the Greensboro-High Point city border.
