The views from the arena are a stunning backdrop for any bride and groom wanting have an outdoor ceremony. Inside the barn there are three defined spaces. The foyer with its high ceilings and comfy furniture welcoming you inside. This is also where the restrooms are located. They have two newly constructed restrooms with multiple stalls in addition to the two original ones. The venue provides tables and chairs and table coverings for your event. There's a built in rustic bar in the corner of the main event space where clients can have a hired bartender serving drinks of their choice. The facilities are set up for a catering company to bring in the food of the clients choice or your band/DJ to unload easily with large rolling door access on either end of the barn. I visited in February so the trees were bare but I can only imagine how gorgeous the space looks in the spring, summer and fall. We were told they host smaller meetings there being able to block off spaces for a more intimate feel or can seat up to 1500 utilizing the whole space.

Street parking was not difficult to find. Inside, the ambiance is great. Soft warm lighting, ample plush leather chairs for seating, attractive displays of cigars and a huge selection of whiskeys. The staff are passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly and made great recommendations. Walking in as a complete novice felt intimidating, and they made it much easier than I expected. I was taught basic terminology and options on pairings. Pricing felt reasonable and fair. The atmosphere was extremely laid back and relaxing. Socializing and networking with the other men was fun. Not only did they attempt to charge me for my brother-in-laws room, they couldn't figure out which one was clean or not. However, my aunt and uncle got this huge suite that had a full size kitchen (with plenty of EMPTY cabinets...why have that many cabinets if you're not going to have plates, cups, or even untensils!) refrigerator (ice machine didn't work) and a fire place that also didn't work. I have no idea what they paid for it but I hope they got some of their money back. All in all, it was a clean, safe place to stay...just don't overpay!

The owner and her son Coleman are so helpful in ensuring you have a wonderful experience. All the set up was done the way I had asked and the venue is so pretty that you only needed small decorations. Coleman should be the only DJ you hire if you choose this venue because he did an AMAZING job with the music choices and getting people on the dance floor in addition to checking in with us throughout the night to make sure everything was going to plan. There is usually music and a food truck if you check their events calendar. Even if they don't have things going on, it is still a great place to sit back and relax in an Adirondack overlooking the water. There is a cute tire swing and plenty of grass area for kiddos to run around and play. I always enjoy getting a flight so I can enjoy several of their wines. I actually like their muscadine wines surprisingly. They also have the most amazing strawberry cake that is made with their wine! I go every year for my birthday to get a slice. In the summer, it is also nice to get a win slushy as well. The owners are always very friendly and their dogs will likely greet you as well. No beverages may be brought to the property but bring yourself a little picnic of food to enjoy with your wine.
