It's just that going to court gives me anxiety as the reason why I deducted 1 star, LOL! But I do know we have them for a reason. As their mission states, "To resolve disputes assuring that individuals are not deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law or denied equal protection of the law." (Superior Court of Sutter). Sometimes you win a dispute/case and not pay anything and win your freedom or anxiety of owing a fine/bill, sometimes you lose a dispute/case then pay the fine, and sometimes you are summoned for jury duty just to watch the trial. The trial may not be Judge Judy like trial where there's some humor into the case, but the judge does show some slight humor in regards of tying the case back to the Law if found guilty. As the judge will not show favorites between the defendant and the prosecutor. Tips to win a case: 1. Provide important key evidence! Such as photos, videos, documents, and/or witnesses to make your dispute much stronger to win a case to prove yourself innocent. 2. Hire the best lawyer. (optional). 3. Be confident and have good body language. Speak professionally (avoid curse languages). 4. Treat all court employees nicely (never show aggression). 5. Be prepared to share your story in a clear concise manner, provide timelines if possible and stick to it if you'll be summoned again. 6. Stay kind and calm at all times. 7. Attend your trial if you can make it. If you can't make it (re-schedule in a timely manner preferably 2-3wks in advance prior to your trial date). Tips to lose a case: 1. Don't be over confident or too cocky. 2. Steps from 1-7 from "Tips to win a case", just exactly the opposite. LOL! Important note: Attend your jury duty if you've been summoned! It's part of being the world's greatest American Citizen aka You to partake. The judges will move any cases to the front that would be a disruptive inmate or a tv type case. It's important to not bring stuff into the building. You will be checked as it is a courthouse. No weapons or pepper spray. Dress nice for court. There are minimum rules. Don't dress like you don't care because it's gonna cost you. You can checkout your court case online to make sure of the courtroom the day before to make sure it's still on. It's always available to see if it's moved or something. The prisoners will be in the orange jumpsuits. You're not allowed to make any kind of contact with them. The bailiff will catch you. The judge will throw you out at the very least. If not fine you and throw you in there with them. You can go to visitation. The courthouse does have a counter you can go in for information if you need to file small claims or something. We have a nice clean facility use it. They do need better handicap access through the check-in process

In one instance, I went on a hike and returned to find that my car had been entered. I was later told it was because my vehicle was "running," but that was not true--my car has an automatic shut-off feature and was not running at the time. During this incident, personal and confidential items were taken from my vehicle. In another situation, I believe I was followed prior to an encounter outside a bar. When I exited, holding only water, I was physically confronted by a peace officer. Despite not being the aggressor, I was charged with assault. Based on my experience, these incidents raise serious concerns about potential misconduct, including unlawful entry, false reporting, and excessive use of force. I'm sharing this so others are aware and can stay informed about their rights when interacting with law enforcement. Accountability and transparency matter in every community.

December 2021 was a record breaking month, most snow since the 1970's, causing I-80 and US 50 to…read moreclose. Caltrans District 3 working 24/7 trying to get the roads open. Not only snow Caltrans has to deal with but also fallen trees due too the weight of the snow. Yes, I have witness crews, working 2AM in the morning, snow blowing snow to make the roads wider. When you get this much snow, you can only plow so much and have to use snow blowing equipment which Caltrans only have a few of these equipments. Can't thank enough Caltrans District 3 men and women working tirelessly to get the roads open. Please download Caltrans app and Twitter, Caltrans provides real time updates, great resource of information. Please drive safe and come prepared when you drive up the mountain. This will help with the flow of traffic and resource.

Avoid this program if you want your children to be treated like they are human beings!) ALL the other programs are awesome and somehow everyone involved is encouraging and kind to the children as well as being very professional with parents. The preschool program is so great (especially the lovely Miss Karen Foley!!! ) The swimming program is so great and ALL the instructors are just amazing with the kids. My son has been in swimming since he was -1 and I've loved EVERY instructor. LOVED! While watching my son's classes I also have observed the special needs instructors and have almost teared up at how patient and encouraging they are with even the most challenging of special needs children. Awesome! Get the guide at the library and enjoy the fun!

We have used Roseville Parks and Rec as our sole swimming instruction for our children (ages 3 and…read more5) for the past 2+ years. We come back year after year because of the swim instructors. They are patient with the kids and professional dealing with the parents. Our kids are currently at the Duck and Otter level and they look forward to lessons and meeting their "coaches" each session. When dealing with the office staff, they too have been extremely helpful in refunding money for sessions we've had to cancel due to vacations/conflicts and calling to let us know of availability in sessions we are wait-listed for. I highly recommend them for their swim lessons as well as friendliness in customer service during open swim times.

All sprinkler systems in El Dorado Hills are on recycled water; therefore, all the pcv pipes under ground for irrigation have to be the EID approved purple, with the purple tape, and the purple tags. I have to break up concrete to fix my problem or have my irrigation water turned off. Every neighbor I have spoke with has a terrible story about EID. They are the soup nazis of irrigation.
