Today is Dec 5 I arrived today at 10:27 am to print out a document. People are going inside through the side and ignoring the people outside by the door. It says it will be closed on holidays but today isn't a holiday, it's also Friday and they open at 9.

We always come here for our passport renewal. This time no exception lol They take walk in and we tried to get there early around 10 (they open at 9) to wait in line. The line was not too long and we waited for about 15 mins prior to the staff called us in to check our documents and form. Then they gave us a buzzer and told us we are feel free to hang out at the library till the buzzer notifies us our appt is ready. The library has been remodeled. It's very clean, bright and modern. They have a pretty big kid section with books, interactive store like set up (think about a mini version of the pretended city in Irvine) along with other sections for adults. They also have a coffee shop inside the library right before the entrance. Parking was easy and free! And they have a cute outdoor area as well. Tips for renewing your passports: if you are 18 plus, you could mail in your passport along with form and required documents (pls check website to make sure) for renewal. If you are 18 and under, either both parents or one parent with permission from another parent and need to appear in person. Make sure your go online to make sure print and fill out all the form and read what documents and copies you will need to bring. That will save you tons of time if you are well prepared and that will help speed up the line for others too. I saw a couple people just showed up without checking online to fill out form or bring in documents that needed...

Really cool library with computers for kids to play game, section with a kids play area for younger children, and the best part quick and easy access to renewing or applying for passports. Reason for 4 stars is cause people who got checked in ahead of us got called in first and that wasn't fair in my opinion.

The Placentia Public Library is a nice public library with a friendly staff. My youngest son likes the play area, especially the grocery store, fire station, and diner. He also loves going through the children's section to pick out books for me to read to him. One time, I took him to storytime on a Thursday, and he had a good time. The staff member read some stories, sang some songs, and had stickers for the kids at the end. Overall, it's a good library to take the family to.

Many people praise the kids' area and family-friendly programming, and there's also a great used-book nook run by Friends of Yorba Linda Public Library Book Corner that's perfect for finding cheap finds and supporting local programs. There are also useful services like passport processing, study rooms, public computers, and events for all ages, which go beyond what some smaller libraries offer and make it a hub for different members of the community. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, like many popular libraries, it can get crowded during peak hours, and I've heard a few rare comments from other visitors saying staff interactions upstairs haven't always been great though most experiences I've seen are positive overall. Overall, it's a comfortable, well-stocked library with good amenities and a welcoming community atmosphere definitely worth a visit if you want a quiet place to read, study, take the kids, or just hang out.

The YBL Library is seriously one of the most user-friendly libraries around. I found out that they have hold feature alone is a game changer--super easy to place holds online and pick them up when they're ready. This service does saves some time but ruins the experience of browsing in the library. This library have two floors. The 2nd floor have a Help Desk, which an extremely nice librarian, that's so nice and easy to talk to. There's lots of computer available for use which is great for studying or working. There are tons of tables, so you're not fighting for a seat, and the conference rooms you can book are perfect for group projects. They also have a printing station, which is incredibly helpful when you need to print something last minute. Overall, it's clean, well-organized, and clearly designed with students and the community in mind. Highly recommend!

Before the scandal, his presidency reshaped both foreign and domestic policy in ways that still impact us today. On the global stage: * He made a historic visit to China in 1972, opening diplomatic relations after decades of isolation--completely shifting the balance of the Cold War * He negotiated détente with the Soviet Union, including arms control agreements that helped ease nuclear tensions * He worked to wind down U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War and ended the military draft At home: * He established the Environmental Protection Agency, laying the groundwork for modern environmental protection * Signed the Clean Air Act and supported major environmental reforms * Advanced policies that reshaped federal power and economic strategy during a time of national division What stands out in the museum is how these accomplishments are presented alongside the unraveling of the Watergate scandal--a moment that led to his resignation and permanently changed public trust in government. # 500 Review Saved…read moreit specifically for Thy City I Love... My 1st review on a City ever There's so much to say about Yorba Linda. Let me say it was the Best Decision ever to purchase our 1st Home together in Yorba Linda, summer of 2015. My husband and I looked at Hones in other great cities, Irvine, Cypress to name a few and even looked to stay in Fullerton/Near Troy HS. We were looking literally almost 5 years. When we looked in Yorba Linda, i just knew of this city as the well known Richard Nixon Library along with it being his birthplace. Never thought I'd be raising our little humans here. It's been almost 8 years living at the Land of the Gracious Living. And loving every second of it. Watching our kids grow, meeting and going to school with other great families. The neighbors are all so friendly and even strangers that ends up being friends. Everyone is all so welcoming since we moved here and we have made other new families feel welcoming. I haven't heard any negativity from anyone that has moved to our town. It's quite a bummer reading other reviews about Yorba Linda stating it's a snobby town. I highly recommend looking into purchasing here in YL. You'll get your moneys worth for the amount of land you get. When we moved here in 2015 the town hasn't had much development as of big stores. Until In 2017 i would like to say. We finally have our own Yorba Linda Town center right next to Old Town Yorba Linda Main Street. It's a beautiful town center with our very own Regal theater. Our new Public Library is a beautiful place to visit for books & other children department programs they have to offer. The city is definitely a knit tight community. I grew up almost basically my entire like in Fullerton and I didn't feel a sense of closeness for the less than 8 years I've been here as much as I feel living in Yorba Linda. We have so many parks also. The biggest addition to one of the best parks is we recently just had our newly renovated Adventure Playground added to one of our parks. Definitely a Must visit! It's a pretty safe city to raise or begin a family here. The school ratings was definitely one of the reason why we chose to bought our 1st home here.
