There were three pieces of chicken with potatoes and vegetables. I had to take one piece home. The food was excellent! We had a table of eleven, but the service was right on time. We got there late on a Tuesday, but there were no worries. We had a room off to the side, that was beautiful. I plan to go there again!

If you like paying over $90 for a few shrimp and breaded, fried and soggy calamari and octopus plus other stuff then this is the place for you. We shared the mousaka. With a razor thin sliver of greasy hamburger between mounds of egg and fried potatoes this tasteless mess could have been served in a doggie bag with much improvement as then we would have known what to expect. The upscale environment, attentive service and the ability to BYOB make Mr. Spicy a fantastic dining option. Food-wise, everything we ordered was good. Standout dishes include the hot & sour soup, chili eggplant and the General Tso's chicken. Like others have mentioned, the food is mostly sweet & sour. So if that's your thing, great. I can't really say this is the most authentic Chinese food, because it definitely caters to Western taste. However, when you're craving sweet & sour Chinese food, this is the perfect place.

The facility itself is always clean, even if there is the odd case of the ceiling needing a couple repairs, (the bad storm we had did a number on it) you barely notice it. The staff is super pleasant and unless the kitchen is super slammed, the food doesn't take long. You hear the *ding* from the kitchen bell every so often and the smells that come from it always make me want to eat something. I usually get a poutine because it's my favorite "cheat" meal but my fellow trivia team members always get an assortment of food and there is rarely ever a complaint. They host other themed nights and special events/contests/musical guests on their stage for holidays etc. Overall, we love coming here for a break from the weekly routine to have a night of (somewhat) educational fun.
