    I hired 99 Handy to build an indoor 9'x7' wall with specialized insulation. Their builder arrived…read moresix hours late with the wrong building materials on the first day. On the second day, he arrived late again, at 6pm and didn't compete the job. I called 99 twice to have the wall fixed, emailed them twice, and sent them two facebook messages asking them to fix their work. They stuck me with a half-finished, warped wall, which had to be completely re-done. See my pics of their horrible work and horrible customer service. Do not use 99 Handy. Update 12/20/2016 - 99 has not reimbursed me, as they claim in their below response. They were also untruthful about the materials purchased. The weekend before he was scheduled to arrive, Stephanie contacted me to say that Paul was too busy to come on Monday and it would have to be pushed to Tuesday. I explained that I was moving and that Monday would be better since I need to get it fixed. She insisted that he had to come on Tuesday, and told me that he had time to both provide an estimate and both fix the fan on Tuesday. I left work early in order to get home for Paul to arrive at 6:30 PM. He never showed up. I emailed Stephanie around 7 PM and she told me that her she had emailed me but "it must have gotten caught in her outbox", but that Paul had gotten caught up in the previous job and wouldn't be able to come. I explained, again, that I would be moving and needed this fixed. Stephanie told me she didn't know what I was talking about, that even if Paul could come provide an estimate he wouldn't be able to fix it. I responded back with a screenshot of Stephanie telling me he could both provide an estimate and fix it in one day. Stephanie then promised me that Paul would arrive at 6 AM the next day to fix it. I was very clear, again, with Stephanie that my movers were coming at 7 AM and he had to be on time since I was leaving. I got up super early to be ready for his arrival... and he arrived at 7:15 AM, an hour and 15 minutes late, as my movers were in the midst of moving. He did tell me what the problem was, but said he'd have to come back and fix it. I told him he'd have to coordinate with my tenant who was moving in. I connected Stephanie and Paul with my tenant. She scheduled two times for him to come fix the issue and both times, he never showed without notice. Finally my tenant emailed Stephanie and Stephanie responded that she no longer works for 99 Handy. I texted Paul twice last week asking him to please fix the gaping hole in my bathroom wall, and got no response. Please stay away at all costs. I don't know how anyone could possibly give them a good review. And Paul, please feel free to respond to my texts.

    I've used their moving services before and they were excellent! The movers were fast and efficient…read more They were punctual and came right on time. I had a lot of items including some heavy furniture pieces. They were able to pack everything and move everything safely without any damages. The boxes and tape do cost extra if you choose to ask them to help pack, so I recommend providing some duct tape and boxes. The costs vary as well but I found their pricing to be very reasonable and the best priced compared to other movers I have used. They were super communicative and were also really friendly people! I enjoyed talking to them during the move. Overall, I highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again for any moving and packing services.

    I did not have a great experience with this company. This was my eleventh move in the span of about…read moretwenty years. I decided to shake things up and try a new moving company. Amanat was quick to respond, I spent about 20 minutes on the phone giving a detailed inventory, got the quote and paid the deposit. The estimate for my two bed two bath with packing and unpacking was 8 hours. The three person crew arrived on time. I walked them through the apartment and they got started. Unfortunately we were five hours in and they had still not finished packing. By the time they were finally unloading the truck, we were on the tenth hour. My husband was putting beds back together and we told them to forget about unpacking, as that would have taken them another two days. The crew was very young and inexperienced. I often found them checking their phones rather than focusing on the job. And as I've been unpacking I've been more and more frustrated with how they packed. Furniture was damaged, items boxed in totally random order (I.e., kitchen items and clothes in the same box), and nothing labeled. I don't know how they were planning to be able to unpack as planned. Some items were wrapped up so securely that didn't need it while other more valuable items were tossed in a box without any protection at all. And the amount of tape used was obscene. I've spent hours and hours cutting through it all. It was completely unnecessary to use that much. And they applied tape directly on items that are now ruined, like decorative storage boxes, high end sneaker boxes and expensive dresses. This was by far the worst moving experience I've had.
