Asda is goo if you go after 9pm because they drop there prices immensley on almost everything so you can really get a good bargain! I thnk asda do a great range of clothes for everybody and specially the kids. I usually pick up tshirts and jeans for my son for under a fiver. I think the toys in here are really good as well. Great quality and a very good price. The dvd and cd selection is great. They always get the latest releases and they always beat hmv for prices. This asda also has it's own cafe but i don't tend to go in it because it's always to busy!

This Sainsbury's store is a small branch in the Beehive Business Park around two miles from…read moreBlackburn town centre or so, it is a "Local" store so is more of a place not to do a weekly shop, but to get certain essentials, even petrol as this seems to be apart of a garage. The location is decent being in the Beehive Business Park, it is infront of Euro House and behind a drive-thru Starbucks, Inside, it is quite small and it does have a Starbucks coffee Machine and toilets, and various places for food. The staff didn't seem too helpful. The range of some items didn't seem great, for example, there were some things I couldn't find including Hand Sanitiser and staff members, I still struggled to find a staff member who was helpful. This store is pretty basic, it is okay for the type of store it is and nothing more than that, hence worthy of just a tow star rating. UPDATE: After a recent visit where I wanted to drop off a MyHermes parcel, I feel the need to downgrade this store to a single one-star rating mainly down to the slightly rude and unhelpful nature from the members of staff working, they seemed unhelpful and uninterested and slightly annoyed to even have to do the parcel, which was a shame. In its own right, the store seems to only sell more snack items / basic essentials so sadly I can't warrant this store being worth anything over the higher end of a one-star rating.

The store is very easy to find, it is based where the Accrington college used to be situated. The car park is under the actual store, so is very large, although I always find that under-store parking seems to be dark, maybe a few more lamps wouldn't go amiss. There are two cash-points at the main entrance and I quite like the box with two foot-prints painted on the outside of them, to show people to stand back when waiting, I personally loathe people standing to near me when I use an ATM. Just inside the entrance on the right is a play area for the kids, you will notice when entering the store that there is enough light, as the window-walls are next to the 'Travelator' that you go up to the shopping level. Of course, the store is an 'Extra', so it offers grocery, electronics, clothing, pharmacy and has a stylish cafe just as you get to the shopping floor. The aisles are very wide, so it's great to get round, this in fact is the reason I shop here, also down to the fact that the Tesco is new, so it's fairly quiet at most times, I think this is down to the locals being loyal to Asda, but I would recommend they try Tesco out at least once or twice, it's a lot bigger than Asda and I find that there is more on offer at Tesco.
