This is a great business…read more They arrived within 2 minutes to jump start our car at a state park. Yes, 2 minutes. We had gone through USAA after discovering our car was dead in an area unfamiliar to us and without jumper cables. We had just gotten the confirmation text that they were enroute when they pulled up. The guys were prompt, cheerful, efficient, and obviously enjoy helping folks out. Our daughter had started crying with worry when we first discovered that the car was dead, so PJ's great customer service went a long way towards our trying to teach her about overcoming problems by getting help!

Mind you it's one of those hot days where my tire is probably melted half off and thus the reason it's obliterated to nothing! So I get a nice Text from my roadside 15 min after I call telling me that I need to wait about an hour .... ok no problem what's another hour, I've already survived 15 minutes of the scorching heat and I need to lose a few lbs so I'm good...... An hour later instead of getting 'Your crane had arrived' Text I get a NEW TEXT telling me a new company is coming ..... I get a phone call seconds later from the new company (Pinkeys) telling me he's an hour away. I'm so dumbfounded it's ridiculous ! I'm asking him what happened to PJ's?! He didn't know he was only coming for Audi to help me but yeah I'm pissed , hot and miserable and think this is horrible business. The company never called and confirmed or anything and that's just bad business. I work with Tow Company's daily in DC and to make someone wait over an hour then cancel tells me you don't care about customer service or humanity for that matter having someone sit for so long before canceling Ugh

What kind of business is this!!! I'm sorry I'm a military brat and my area code is with my mother in Kansas City, however my father lives in Culpeper Virgnia and I grew up in Manassas Virgnia. If you find yourself stuck and in a jam please don't call this mean angry man!!!

Then, when an intermittent electrical problem left me dead in the driveway, the Cusic crew came out, located a problem that others hadn't diagnosed correctly, and fixed it in short order--again for a very fair price. Since then, I've taken "Big Red" back to them to have other work done, including an update from manual to power windows. I can not express my appreciation enough for them and the friend who referred them. These days, finding a mechanic shop that you can trust, without question, to know what they are doing and not rip you off is a rare treasure.

Well, any of you who live or frequent the southern Maryland area know there is nothing open other than (the store that starts with W) after 9pm. Well their website list that they have trailer tires...not gonna say anymore about that. So after suffering through the above stores lack of service and knowledge I contacted Chip's, explained my issue, and they sent a truck out immediately. Within 30 minutes Bam Bam was on the scene. It was late and cold but he was upbeat and totally professional. He took his time and properly loaded my trailer with contents, nothing was further damaged. He transported the trailer to where I asked without any questioning and unloaded it, again with care and patience. He even offered to return the next day and further assist if I could not locate the tire I needed. My wife and I were highly appreciative of his attitude and professional way of doing business. We truly hope the owner of Chip's sees this review and lets this man know what a good employee he is, and what a positive reflection he is on that business. Ricky H.

And I was not allowed to grab any of my belongings from the vehicle once they took it. Once they opened we went inside to get more information on how to get my car back. They said they were unable to give me a price breakdown for why my bill was $400 until after I paid it in full. Then proceed to tell me that I cannot pay ahead and then have the tow truck come. Both me and the tow truck must be there at the same time to ensure same day pickup, and that there would be no extra costs from waiting longer than I stated. I asked if I could sign a release form to release my car to the tow truck driver providing his name and giving him the money to pay them. They stated that was not an option as we both needed to be there, then proceeded to say that only a notarized paper stating the release to the driver would be acceptable. We said we would go to the bank to get it notarized, then they proceeded to say we cannot do that, I have to be in the hospital for that kind of situation. A few hours later I went back with the tow truck driver to get my car, they tried to raise the price to $450, even though I spoke with them on the phone and in person discussing the price as $400. Finally got the price straight, paid and go to get my car when I find out they carelessly threw their equipment along with the debris and oil dry absorbent pellets on my backseat (and I paid a $50 cleanup fee for the trash to go in my car). They also left my flashers on for the full 8 hours my car was in there lot, do not recommend this business to anyone, as their employees are clearly not trained on customer service or respect for customers property.
