It wasn't busy, it took a long time for being the only one at the counter. Mostly my coffee wasn't hot.

Yum, yum, yum! I'm here for work and honestly finding this gem has changed my mornings. Their velvet ice (basically their version of a frappe) are SO good and honestly taste better than a frappe. The whipped cream should be it's own food group it's so delicious. They also make breakfast sandwiches. Thus far I've only tried egg and cheese on a plain bagel but I'm pretty sure if they have the ingredients they'll make you any sandwich you want. The inside of the restaurant is cute and spaced out so you can stay and enjoy your coffee inside if you were so inclined. Everyone I've interacted with has been so incredibly nice and friendly. Not to mention the downtown area is adorable. I'd recommend stopping in, grabbing a coffee and then going for a walk around the area! read more

I've been slowly making my way through their menu! Great place! Lots of seating! They rotate some of their flavored coffee every day it seems so there's always something new to try! Regular Granita is also delish, a nice light frozen drink without all the crazy sugar taste of a Frappuccino, and their whipped cream is thick and yummy! read more

Pretty solid coffeehouse with good wifi. I usually stick with black coffee but I tried their granita and I really enjoyed it! They also have love music here sometimes which is very nice and mellows the mood. I didn't try any of their pasties, but I'm sure they pair well with any coffee beverages here. The bathrooms are also super clean and it's a comfortable place to study and get work done. They also play a classic rock station that makes it easy to stay focused. read more

I am so glad PJs finally came to Ruston. I love the coffee as does my daughter in law. We also love the muffins. The drive through is fast and the server even told me how to get PJ points. The online store has lots of gift ideas. I wish it weren't so fattening so that I could enjoy it more often. I just can't drink my coffee black and who would want to. read more

Typically I enjoy going to Pj's coffee shop but my last experience was absolutely terrible. A group of friends and I went out to get coffee and just to sit down and chat and catch up. Immediately after receiving our coffee we went to sit down on the couch. We sat down and we're immediately scolded by an employee for having multiple people sitting on the couch ( which has plenty of room for more than one person). After this experience we moved to the bar area where we could have a seat with everyone having their own seat and were fine. After me and my friend of the same gender went to go to the restroom and were followed by that same employee while she was making snarky comments about us waiting on each other to get out of the restroom. At this point we were just fed up with the way we were being treated as paying customers and decided to leave. The employee went to her coworker and decided to continued to say offense things about our group. I found that the way we were treated was discriminative and just rude. I am not pleased with my experience at Pj's. read more

PJ's is a great addition to El Dorado. Their hazelnut drip coffee I had yesterday was excellent and the latté I'm enjoying today hits the spot. Their prices are similar to Starbucks and worth it. They have nice ambiance inside and offer a wine bar in the evenings with a hot panini menu and soups. I'll have to try these the next time I'm there. read more

Was in the area and had read good reviews about this place. So we decided to stop in and try it for ourselves. We both ordered the same thing - the Caramel Granita blended and it was pretty good! I love this place. I'm always here when I'm in El Dorado. My latest visit was not very pleasing and I was highly disappointed. My coworker and I decided to have a business meet here with coffee of course but we had to leave because the music was extremely loud. I asked an 2 employees to turn the music down slightly because we were trying to have a meeting. One employee said he's not allowed to touch it, the other said she can't because it's locked in the office. I saw the manager cleaning the window and asked him, he came inside and said maybe he can but that's the volume all day. I told him I don't recall it being that loud in the mornings whenever I stopped in to get coffee. You can guess why we left--no one can turn the music down. read more

I come here every once in a while. They have O-K coffee. but the staff is always friendly. They also have wine , which is great. I came here to write my paper the other night. I had a glass of wine to relax because i had been stressing about it. The place is clean. the music was kind of loud & the wine wasn't cheap. Best place to relax. By far the most disappointing PJs I've ever visited. I live near New Orleans and there are several PJs by my university, so PJs is pretty much a staple for me as I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, every time I've visited this particular PJs I've left disappointed. The actual shop is really nice, but the products and especially the customer service leave much to be desired. I wish there were more options in El Dorado because I'd definitely never go back to this PJs if that were the case. read more

Being from Houston, TX it was my first time tasting PJ's coffee and it was awesome! I'll be stopping by to purchase some fresh beans before I leave town. The Cafe Americano was my favorite. They have a yummy chocolate chip cookie and other pastries too. Wish it was open late... they close at 9pm. I enjoy having some coffee or tea after my dinner. Stopped in a few weeks back as I was waiting for a local jewelers to open in El Dorado. Got a regular coffee as I cannot drink the foo foo stuff. Sorry was an old Navy man back in the 60's and 70's. But the coffee was great and the lady that served me saw that I was a Life Member of the VFW. She began to tell me of her boyfriend that was in the local VFW. Really nice and friendly staff and the regular coffee was not bad either as it was my first time in a PJ's coffee shop. Did not eat the food as I was looking for some eggs and bacon and did not see that in the display case. Will happily stop in there again if I'm in the neighborhood again. read more

I give this place three stars because I was expecting the coffee to be better than the complimentary hotel coffee I was given. It wasn't that it was terrible, I was just expecting "better" from a coffee shop. To go with my coffee, I got a banana-nut muffin that was actually pretty dang good (not sure if these were homemade or not, though). The service was good - the two ladies that greeted me when I walked in were your typical grumpy morning folks. I love coffee. I was a barista for years. PJs is the best in town. Some of their recipes are lacking (like an iced americano is not on the menu) but once I explained how to make it they have never forgotten. I do meetings for my photography business here, I edit here, I come for fun treats with my kids, and relaxing mom's solo afternoon off days. Haha. The atmosphere is pretty chill during the day but can get a little more vibrant after school. read more

Terrible. The coffee was good...until I found glass in my cup. I called and they said they would make me a new one. Went back and they were rude.
