There are a few tables outside, especially for the warm Summer days, and three rooms on a basement level downstairs. Pizza is good also for people with digestion or food-tolerance issues, and is prepared in the wood oven just in front of people, as a guaranty of how things are done and what ingredients are used. I was able to taste the broccoli flavor and even though I could see the broccoli, I never actually tasted the broccoli itself (think broccoli and beer cheese soup sans ever touching actual broccoli but it's there). I enjoyed it and my fiancé was surprised he liked it, too. The Margherita pizza was good, heavy on the onion but after being cooked in the oven for a few mins, it was delicious. Now the chicken wraps. We ordered with a little bit of spice and glad we did because the "spicy" sauce added more flavor to the wrap, but not necessarily heat but it was good. The meat was very flavorful and off the core right in front of us. The wrap is also BIG for a wrap (when we read "wrap" and n the menu we were thinking the traditional wraps from chain restaurants or everyone's favorite buffalo chicken wrap at the local joint size). The wrap looks like a long burrito and one is definitely big enough to share. We kept our 2nd wrap in our hotel room fridge for the next morning. La…read morePratolina is a Prati stalwart and was filled with an eclectic group of people on a Friday night in February. The expansive rooms were filled with locals of all ages and all persuasions. Interestingly, not once did I feel old, or was I treated any differently because of my age, during ten days in Rome. That does not happen in the United States. La Pratolina serves an Ancient Rome inspired pizza called Pinsa. It's hand-stretched into an oval shape, using a mix of soy, rice, and wheat flour with a high water content, resulting in a crust that is very light, airy inside, and crispy on the outside. We found our two pizzas unique and delicious. Packed at 10:30 at night, the staff had to be efficient and ran around, working hard, serving people in the several rooms and outside. They didn't have time to gab until close to closing, and then our female server was very charming answering my questions with aplomb. La Pratolina has great pizza and reasonable prices. It's as authentic as anything you'll find in Italy. I love Prati, and La Pratolina represents its hood well.
