Traditional, organic Tuscan dining in a small, home-like restaurant with approximately six tables…read morewhich seat 4-6 people each. The kitchen is open for all to watch, and three people work very hard to bring you the best they can offer.
The food was good, but not mind-blowing. There are quite a few other places nearby that will offer more flavor in their dishes. The desserts were very lackluster, and the dolce creams were somewhat chalky. However, service was superb, and they even offered a free limoncello tasting at the end of the night.
The ambiance is like eating at a friend's home, and parking is a bit limited, so it may be best to park outside the gates and walk down the small street.
The restaurant is at the end of the little road behind the gate, to the right. Also, despite HGVC directions, it is closer to a 1.25 mile walk, with a very sharp left into a village, behind gates, and not "two times around the track and just on the left."
