We started w/ a pizza, and crust was perfectly crispy and soft where it counts. Spaghetti ala carbon melted in my mouth -- best I've ever had, and I ordered it on back-to-back visits. The risotto w/ chanterelles was creamy and yummy, and the spinach ravioli was soft and so flavorful -- sublime, really. We only ate one piece of their bread, so as not to spoil dinner, but wow, fresh from oven! Wine list featured some outstanding local wines, which the staff were well familiar and knowledgeable. Friendly and accommodating staff, air conditioned (hot Aug '18), comfortable (we sat inside on 2d floor) -- In sum, outstanding experience!! Cheers! RS

The squid ink gnocchi was good and special, something that we had not seen somewhere else and ended up very interesting and exciting to eat. the least favorite item of the menu was the traditional Bolognese lasagna which was good but nothing out of the ordinary and lacked the boldness and innovation of the other items. the price is a bit higher that other places in the area; but it is worth it for the location and the innovative special food items.

He seemed a bit put off, said in clear English, "We stop serving at 1400", and off he went. Original waiter came by later, and we ordered 1 more beer. He informed us there was a service charge, presumably for occupying the table. Just a really odd exchange, and one server was clearly not pleased with our lack of a food order. Don't people ever just stop here during the day for a beer?? Anyway, we drank our beer, paid the added service charge for sitting at an outdoor table, and went on our way, glad to put this place behind us. Cheers! RS
