I ordered a tomato soup as a starter, which was too creamy for me, but it was good. As a main dish I had white asparagus with potatoes and salmon steak. I really loved the asparagus and I can say that they were fresh. The salmon was a bit dry and too small, but just because I was too hungry I expected more;) i ordered another portion of asparagus which was really good! The atmosphere was great, the wine was great, the prices are really affordable for the quality they serve and the service was good. In the end we got 2 glasses of Grappa for free and I could pay by card, which is also important! If you search for a nice and good restaurant, not located in the city center, then Chianti is a good place to go!

Eventually she moved us to a table in her section. We ordered the charcuterie board, which looked and tasted amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was so filling that we had difficulty eating our pizza. The pizza was good with a thin crust and perfectly cooked. The restaurant was appealing and cozy. If we visit Koblenz again we will definitely return.

Hard to say if this is typical in Germany as service does seem slower and laid back here. Overall though I would definitely return!
