So 2 of my classmates recommended to meet here for dinner. I have to admit, when I arrived I was instantly a bit skeptical about how the food was going to be. It's a hotel restaurant and the interior is small, with 3 rows of tables and the walls painted to look like you're looking out over all the famous Italian sights.
However, they both said the pizza was great, so that's what I ordered. I ordered the house specialty pizza that was suppose to be 1/2 beef carpaccio & the other 1/2 with eggplant, zucchini and cherry tomatoes.
When the pizza arrived (fairly quickly) it wasn't divided into half for the toppings, but all where over the entire thing. Regardless, my friends were absolutely correct! The pizza was Great!!! The crust was hand formed and then cooked in a wood burning oven and very tasty.
I can't speak for the rest of the dishes, but I would be willing to go back and try them just on the basis that they know how to make a great pizza. The specialty pizza was 23 franc, which is actually quite an ok price for the area.
The service was great too. Very fast, but not over attentive. They even offered a complimentary espresso, coffee or amaretto at the end of the meal.
The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the deco / atmosphere of the restaurant.
Definitely worth checking out though! read more
