On top of that, the restaurant's service is surprising (given it was 10:00pm when we arrived): we were helped promptly, took some time to order our dishes and got served quickly. We had their eggplant parmesan, which was great (presentation needing some work though), and their vegetarian ricotta-stuffed-crust pizza, which was simply amazing. In short, with their great service, great dishes and generous opening hours you know this place is a keeper; had we lived in Milan, we'd be there frequently.

They were able to accomodate us without a reservation and were seated next to their gorgeous wine cellar. We started with the house wine and ordered the tasting of the house as an appetizer. For our main, we got the ossobuco with milanese risotto House Red- It's a dry, full-bodied red. Lots of flavor and a hint of sweetness at the end. Tasting of the House- You their house bread which is fluffy and crusty on the outside. It's paired with anchovies, cantabriche, caper from pantelleria, and taggiasche olives to get that savory palate going. Balancing it out are a variety of cheeses: D.O.P semi-matured goat cheese, and Pecorino. Definitely try the bread with their spiced olive oil! Ossobuco with Milanese Risotto- The veal is cooked to perfection and has the most buttery marrow. The saffron is tender with a delicate flavor. Finished with a grating of aged cheese. Wonderful experience overall!

We started walking towards the entrance when a worker saw us and asked how many - we said 2 and were immediately seated at an outdoor table. It wasn't until after we sat and got settled that I noticed a short line on the left hand side of the wall. I felt bad, thinking we had cut a line, but if the worker seated us, I figured maybe those people had larger parties and couldn't be seated? Either way, I guess check to see if there's a line! Really simple menu but we knew what we wanted - a Margherita Pizza and a Tiramisu. They asked if we wanted it to be halved and we were glad they offered it so we wouldn't have to struggle as much! You're given a fork and knife here so we ate with them rather than picking up a slice. Pizza was great, loved the chewy crust that Neopolitan pizzas have. Tiramisu was pretty good too, although definitely had better. They also gave us free meloncello shots at the end which was fun!

Also, there was a bit of a weight when we got there, but it actually grew to almost a dozen people. They see people quickly so the turnover is pretty fast and you don't wait long. Since I was concerned about limited menu, those fears were allayed when the Waiter takes your order - he lets you know about the four or five other ones that are not on the menu that are all sounding great So we picked 'chef special' (they pick for you) and a white pizza. The service was pretty quick, and the pizza comes out right away Obviously with such high turnover, they have figured out the formula for delicious pizza. They nailed the crust as well as all the ingredients. Really delicious. The toilet facilities definitely need a lot of help. That was my only real comment about the atmosphere. It's very basic, you sit at basic tables. They seemed to all be helpful
