My wife and I found this place on Yelp while driving along the Rhein one afternoon. We were looking for a good lunch spot and decided to check this place out. We parked along the main road as it runs through town, then walked into the shopping area and made a left uphill to the restaurant. There were two other tables occupied outside on the covered patio when we arrived, so we decided to take a third table and were seated by the server. She then gave us the menus to peruse for a few minutes, and soon we had ordered the Penne Arrabiatta (extra sharf), Penne with Gorgonzola sauce, and two Pilsners. Inside the restaurant was a very pleasant smell of freshly baked pizzas, and a number of additional tables in front of a bar that separated the front of the house from the kitchen. Soon our beers and food were delivered. The pasta was piping hot with amazing sauces. Super flavorful, and excellent textures. The portions were big enough that we requested a box with the rest to go. The total was 21 Euros for everything, which was a great value, given the quantity and quality. Last night I had the "Mafia" pizza - it is full of flavor and has a touch of zing to it. :). My wife had a salad on a pizza bread. The presentation was nice and it was equally flavorful. I wish I had taken pictures of it. (Next time!) There's an outdoor terrace that is large and is mostly in the shade in the evenings. Parking is easy since they have their own lot. Prices seem very reasonable as compared to other restaurants. The staff are friendly and attentive, so that makes for an overall nice dining experience. My only little wish is that they would offer wi-fi. But in Germany that's a little harder to find than in the states. :)
