Our first choice was located outside of Frankfurt, leaving only Quattro on the table. Our orders: - scallops with truffle: scallops were perfectly prepared and I thought the truffle shavings were pretty generous. The sauce however, was WAY TOO SALTY! Like...reallyyyy...you don't taste your cooking before serving it to paid customers? - Spaghetti Quattro with scampi, mussels, clams and baby calamari in white wine butter sauce: pasta was al dente. it was delicious with plenty of shell fish, BUT again, it was on the salty side. If the amount of salt could be toned down a bit, this would be a winning dish! - Spaghetti ala vongole: almost the same with the spaghetti Quattro above but with only clams. Sauce was not as salty which is awesome! - Lemon sorbet: served partially melted already. I hate melted ice cream and sorbet! BUT it was surprisingly good! I would never voluntarily order a lemon sorbet but we were not in the mood for a tiramisu or a soufflé that night. It was light & refreshing & exactly how we wanted to close our meal. House bread was served cold and hard. I hate cold hard bread. I had to ask them to warm it up. They did. On a side note: when we came, indoor dining area was empty. The waiter asked us to sit at the full patio without letting us know it's a smoking dining area.
