This was as good as any high end pizza place I've been to in the USA. I don't know if they have that special designation for Neapolitan pizza (usually had some sort of temperature requirement for the oven) but they are close as the pies come out in just a couple minutes. Bright sauce, chewy yet crunchy crust, and top notch toppings probably imported from Italy. If you're near silberhornestraße do your self a huge favor and go here. Pizza by the slice also available.

But when I got there the staff was just generally kind of aloof the entire time... not sure what I did there. Then I had the pizza, and I thought it was absolutely disgusting. This wasn't like Italian or NY pizza to me, like the reviews suggested. It was too doughy and chewy and the flavors were just kind of foul. I was really disappointed.

I ordered the margherita pizza and for €9 the pizza was a shareable size and tasty. I did request the garlic and chilli oil which both complemented the pizza well. I did prefer the chili oil to the garlic oil. Ambience and service were great. I went close to 6 and by the time I left it was packed. Being a tourist, I was asked about gratuity which I don't think locals pay gratuity. This was my first time being asked about it so since I liked it I did give a small gratuity.

You really feel the taste of italy - especially considering the pizzaiolo is a Calabrian native. They offer pizza's in two different sizes. We started off with a small one each, but then my friend and i loved it so much that we went for seconds to share! I had the gorgonzola pizza - and it was delicious. The gorgonzola didn't overpower the rest of my topping. They also offer a great selection of wines and Tegernsee beer to go with the pizza. We didn't get to try the home made tiramisu - but we will be back there very soon!
